Just looking at our team and I am glad we dont have a player in our side that has left his club to better his paypacket or even to better himself and come to us.

I think we can build a great close group on that basis.

Fred, on an unrelated matter can you check your PM's? Thanks.

Travis Baird left Brisbane as he would have remained a rookie with them. Doggies, Swans and Collingwood suggested he enter the draft as they would put him on the senior list.

Dear Fred,

Please refrain from starting new threads on the Bulldog board regarding any topics related any supposed "Judas' " or Judas-like activity.

Yours in Eade,

OldSchool

P.S Monty is earning more for us than he would be in the SANFL.

That should have been obvious before looking at your team. You lot can't afford a judas because your fans arn't committed enough to provide you with adequate finances. Nothing to brag about I would have thought.

Um haven't your early draft picks provided you with your Judas'/top recruits?

Hey, I went past Punt Road the other day and noticed a couple of blokes doing some work on the Richmond bandwagon, painting her up and polishing those wheels, they were really hard at it. Waste of time I reckon considering how easily the wheels fall off.

Of course the wheels fall off, they're only stuck on with spit.

Who's your captain and Vice Captain?

Either of those actually originally drafted by your mob?

Coin...two...sides

Heads: we like to develop our own and hang on for grim death or have the new coach put the fear of God into them.

Tails: Whitten Oval Development aside, we're a financial basketcase. New Sponsorships can't hide being $4.2 million in arrears ('05 Annual report). Financial basketcases tend not to attract the Judas types...

Fact is we don't want them anyway.

Peter Street came to us for more money and for better playing opportunities.

Sydney have a bunch of guys who have joined them for more money and they have as close a knit playing group as any club.

The idea that you are a judas for leaving a club for better opportunites and or better financial reward is absurd. My only problem with someone like Nathan Brown is that he didn't have the integrity to admit his reasons for leaving (finals opportunities my arse). Any player would be stupid not to make a move to another club if that is what was best for him and his family. We just have to make sure our players know it is in their best interests to stay Bulldogs.

"Grin", you should do some research and learn about the salary cap and the surveys that suggest the Bulldogs have the best conversion of fans to members of any club in the AFL.

You know what I find amazing about u lot

Your captain is from another club.

Your number one player and your number one marketing player is from another club.

We might have no money but at least we have a bit of soul

Another thing I love about the tige fans

You think you are a top four club

Do me a favour and keep on thinking that, and I will watch your side be average for another 25 years and keep happy

I just looked up the word "mediocrity" in the dictionary and the Tiger emblem was used next to it for illustration purposes.
