sorry
Afternoon paper?
News is old by the afternoon. How could an afternoon paper work in this internet age? Won't last long.

hehehe:D
Cant see it happening though. I doubt they could sell enough papers to survive.
Mind you all they need is one credible journalist and they're a step ahead of the only other paper in town.
It can be done.
The News did it to the Advertiser and eventually owned the lot.
Geesh the News was a crap paper when I lived in Adelaide.

Who's supposed to be backing the new mystery paper? Hopefully someone with a sh.tload of money.
Apparently the Independent Weekly is about an inch away from going down the tube - and they're only trying to compete against one paper for one day (and a pretty crap one too).
I hope it does happen to finally make the Advertiser accountable for its actions, but doesn't seem to make a lot of financial sense to me.

It was a low class rag.
Sadly, that role has now been assumed by "The Advertiser".
You'd need to have deep deep pockets to make another daily paper work in this town. I don't fancy their chances.

Something that grows on your neck or burrows into the ground?
Wasn't there also a programme on TV with the same name?
