Be good to introduce a WATN? thread on recent retirements/delistings of players and so on just so we can have an insight of what is happening to some ex-Pies players at Present.
Ben Kinnear
- Playing at Lalor in the DVFL. Has been given a Playing-Assistant Coach role there. He won the Best and Fairest in 2005, the first year outside of AFL Football for BK.
Brad Fuller
- Also played for Lalor in 2005, but has been getting offers of $700 a game, which Lalor can't match. His future in grassroots is undecided as to which team he is playing for, but has spent time in the Northern Suburbs
Scott Cummings
- Another player who played for Lalor last year, while having slight Media committments. From what I hear he is working for 3AW this year, and he may have retired from local football. In 2005 he played several games, but never trained. He kicked around only 25 goals, yet each week had scores of 2.8 and 3.9, in that area, atleast he kicked the bags at AFL Level.

Geez, McKenna has slid a long way since he was a commentator a couple of years ago :eek:
Tranquilli works for the Australian Tax Office, or at least he did, used to work with my Dad.
His missus also plays for the Opals.

I've heard this rumour from a few Pie supporter friends recently.
He's eminently qualified, and appropriately powerful in the media, being the General Manager of Austereo, which is the radio network that owns both Triple M and Fox, and now that he's on the board, he'll certainly be talked about as a strong candidate when Eddie steps down.
However, with him as the General Manager of a radio station that broadcasts football, expect us to hear all about how Triple M never says anything bad about Collingwood for years to come :rolleyes:

Played with Mansfield in the GVFL (along with Trent Hotton, David Mensch and Darren Hulme) for the last few years. I think he has moved on this year.

I was a personal trainer with Hotten at a Gym about 8 years ago just after we sacked him. Ripping bloke, but didnt give a toss about working hard at footy at that stage. Loved footy but loved just having a beer with his mates too. Didnt have the desire.
See him round now and then. Told me last year he was working at one of the clubs, cant remember which one. Essendon maybe? Carlton. Nah cant remember.

Moved down to Victoria recently to give his son a chance at begin seen by AFL (read: Collingwood) scouts. Ronnie's living in Williamstown ATM.
Dylan Wearmouth will be playing for the Western Jets this year.

Cameron Doyle runs a sports memorabilia shop in Wellington Street Clifton Hill.Now there's a blast from the past. I remember watching him in the two's and thinking he was going to be a player for sure. About the time I thought the same of Chris Dalkin. Early 80’s or thereabouts.

What about Athas Hrysoulakis - last spotted in the forward line at vic park against the swans when he went for a speccy and the ball bounced off his head. Lost by 4 points i think!

Last seen at the Lalor Football Clb downing several long necks whilst reading emails on from Osama on how to find better hideouts ;)
