Couple of observations from the members letter that came out yesterday.

I thought NC's invitation to a sausage sizzle on Friday the 31st of March was an interesting move. He wants to discuss goals and aspirations for 2006 with the members which IMO really gives a feeling of being welcome and included in a club environment. There's no question that NC is really making a difference to the feel of our club - and I'm looking forward to getting down there to hear what he has to say. The timing of it is a bit odd....middle of round 1....but I guess we don't play until Monday night. (10/10 NC...:thumbsu: )....are we happy with NC's approach/influence off-field ???

I was also dissappointed that the family day flier got the date wrong for Members Day. The flier says Sunday 29th of March - which is a Wednesday....but the letter said Sunday 19th of March which is correct. Despite the conflicting information - hopefully there is a great turnout.

Sunday 19th? Might have to hit my sister up for her members ticket and take my brother ( on his member ticket) to the day. Depends how long the party goes the night before and how many Coopers I have.

Can I take my son?

Only thing of note for me was our 97% membership retention rate.

Not quite Green Bay Packers standard, but still highly impressive despite the expected demand resulting from our improving fortunes.

Gets!

So can non members (still in the waiting list) like me just waltz into this thing or what?

97% is an outstanding achievement.

I would think that 3% would be accountable for by deaths and people moving interstate or overseas. It was with some reluctance I handed my membership in some time ago.

I have no plans to live back in SA at the moment, but if I did it looks like an uphill battle to get the membership back........

NC's BBQ is for Gold Members only I think - but Family Day on the 19th of March is for everyone

From experience anyone can go to the family day you dont need to take season tickets or anything.
