thursday nights look good for abc

from this week abc will start showing bomber crew at 8.30 followed by west wing at 9.30.

bomber crew is a follow up to spitfire ace and follows a group of people as their trained to fly and crew a lancaster bomber from ww2, should be interesting if you like that sort of stuff........maybe tape it as most people are watching lost.

west wing could win the ratings at 9.30 cos the commercial networks have nothing really good then and there are a lot of closet fans for this series (dumped by 9).......that would be another smack in the face for 9.

not a big fan of either but not many people will watch it coz nobody will know they are on....i mean who watches the abc or who looks in the abc column of the tv guide?

abc has some decent shows like denton on monday interviewed billy connolly and rated well, also spicks and specks on wednesdays followed by little britain.

The Amazing Race returns next week and will continue to win the 9:30 slot, but I suppose if things go badly enough for The Footy Show there is a (very) minor chance it could slip behind...

ABC has some good stuff on at times. Ace Spitfire was really interesting... I don't mind shows that teach you something about history, especially if it is presented well. Better than some of that American crap spoon fed to you by 9 and 7.

You can often find little gems on the ABC. The F-ing Fullhams was are real laugh.

another good one is grumpy old men 8.00 tuesdays, last ep next week, where a bunch of middle aged grumps complain about modern society.

very funny and entertaining with grumps like jeremy clarkson, noddy holder, ric wakeman, nick stein, david gower and others, give both barrels to anything that moves.
