No 1 Draft Pick
5 Mar 2006, 07:42
The profiles are updated from when I last checked a few weeks ago.

Some interesting points:

Biglands is the fastest Crow over 20 metres

Bassett was the only player to poll in each of the 25 games last year - interesting considering Crows coaches thought Rutten was only beaten in 1 of a 100 quarters last year.

Douglas at the NAB AFL Draft Camp had speed, agility and endurance all in the top 15%

Edwards was snared by the Crows with the 21st pick in the PSD. Goodwin at 18th in the following yrs PSD. I wonder if such bargains will ever be replicated

Hart looks on track to becoming the fifth-youngest player to notch 300 VFL/AFL games. His bio reminded me of his remarkable AA in both of his first 2 years at AFL level. Another 2 injury free years in 05 and 06 will see him close to 350 when he likely retires.

Mc Leod took more bounces than any other player in the competition

Perrie at the club since end of 97 - has any other interstater ever hung around this long? Well done Sarge.

Porplyzia

Skipworth - most dont rate him as having any outstanding attribute. How about leading the competition in goal assists by the halfway mark of the season?
