Just having a look around and I didn't see a topic like this. If you had to name an Australian XI based soley on players who have NEVER played in a Test Match then what would it look like?

1-Markus North
2-Chris Rogers
3-Mark Cosgrove
4-David Hussey
5-Dominic Thornely
6-Brad Haddin - KPR/CAP
7-Cameron White
8-Brett Dorey
9-Dan Cullen
10-Stuart Clark
11-Mick Lewis

Markus North - Versitile a could be a possible candidate for an opening spot.

Chris Rogers - Played plenty of cricket and could be failry solid in the opening position.

Mark Cosgrove - Agressive young batter

David Hussey - Talented guy with some experience behind him now.

Dominic Thornely - Is a very good first class player and can post the big scores.

Brad Haddin - CAP/KPR - Talented, solid batter with great onfeild leadership abilities.

Cameron White - Good striker of the ball who can also chip in by bowling some overs of legspin.

Brett Dorey - 28 year old RFM bowler. Tall, so can get great bounce.

Dan Cullen - Young off-spinner would probably get the nod ahead of the
others in the pack.

Stuart Clark - Seems one of the prefered pace options at the moment.

Mick Lewis - Honest RFM who has some experience.

Others
batting
George Bailey - Is young and looks to play hist shots. Doesn't make the side because they need more than 4 bowling options.

bowling
Adam Griffiths - 28 year old pace bowler who's had two great seasons now. Tall.
Allan Wise.

Travis Birt would be another option.

He's 24 and has scored the second most runs in Pura Cup this season at an average of over 50. Probably better-credentialled as a Test player than David Hussey, who isn't even in the Victorian Pura Cup side.

Once Clark makes his Test debut in SA, I'd be looking at Paul Rofe as a bowling option.

I think you got the FC and OD keepers mixed up.

BTW Whitey has an ODI cap.

Hartley is a better bat than Crosthwaite.

I'll change White.

7. Adam Crosthwaite
How did he go against Queensland on the weekend?

Oh that's right, he was dropped.

Simply, not good enough.

Very ordinary keeper who wouldn't be considered if he played for Tasmania

I'd have Harwood and Wise ahead of Lewis....

I wouldn't. Seems people aren't picking Lewis because he's failed at international level. I can tell you he's fared much better than Harwood or Griffith will - his FC record is very good and he wasn't just selected out of the blue.

This season Harwood and Wise have equal if not better records. As many of you know i really rate Wise as a future Australian player, might need to work on his fielding and batting though.
