Nah they shouldn't need to there is showers predicted tonight and tomorrow. So the ground should be in good condition you would imagine.
Big Game for murrabit, not a good start to the season and last week with the bomber defenders on top (henry 1 goal and randell 0) Macorna would be looking to keep them quiet again while Cocks will need to kick straight. 1-7 last week?
Moula and Nully another good game, bedgy with 10 last week will want to fire again and Smiths in the midle will have to rove Anderson all day i'd say!
Don't believe Randal played last week?

Believe there was no Randall due to the flu and Henry done his hammy early so the wandella boys would have had to work really hard to contain those two:confused::confused::confused:

Different. Has only played a handful of games over the last few years, when on song can be very handy, he's a big rig (6 3ish), massive thighs. Will park outside the ground and cut through a fence to avoid paying and is allergic to showering. Make sure the fridge is stocked up with milk.

Thanks for Info Snibs. Would he be any good in the Ruck or is a foward?

Could play in either possie. Probably best suited down forward with short bursts in the ruck. Pretty handy in front of goal. Not a bad bloke Morro.

Would of, should of, could of, didn't. The league has set many a precedent, if Keith is doing his job Nully should be slapped with a $200 fine and loss of points (if they won)
I believe it is $500 fine for senior divisions $200 for junior, so fine them and lets get on with it. As far as Wakool go the league will give them a get out of gaol free card no doubt after all the hype they put out about them, and how great Harvey was and all the other dribble we had to listen to, and now Wakool are paying the price for not looking towards the future of their club.

they must have a bit of cash left over, OTT, because i reckon willie cossack wouldnt be playing for free and if the rumours are true that kerang offered him ove 1000 then he must be on quite a lot more at wakool?

I dont think finances are the problem out there it would appear that they have formed a reasonably new committee that weren't happy with the direction it was heading and are hoping to change a few things in the interest of the club, full credit to them. But it will be a massive job especially after the cash that was offered previous, everyone wants top dollar, and believe they will pay it no doubt, hopefully they can rectify things abit for the club but it will take a couple of seasons I'd say.

Moula showed some good form on the weekend, unfortunately it was brought back to a reserves style game due to possibly the worst umpiring I have ever witnessed, players taking marks being punched across the face, late not even anywhere near actual contest no fifty given, one player kicked in face accidental or not, no free kick, players thrown to ground well after disposal no down field, all day it was like ressies 20 years ago absolutely disgusting, it brought the standard of the GRFL to the level that the CMFL all believe that it is.
This display was only down one end of the field and was more than obvious that it was due to his personal dislike of the club the bias displayed against Moula on the weekend by one Stewart King ex president of Ultima was appalling an absolute disgrace it was so obvious his intention not to protect players in Red and White which I believe is his job (and paid by our clubs money well spent be joking) to keep the play clean and fair a genuine smear on our league. Witnessed by the league CEO but nothing will be said of course because we are short on umpires fair enough but if you want to attract decent players keep the league at a decent standard in orange as well.:thumbsd:

On the track, as a player for the Ultima football club, and a friend of Stewart King, I find these comments harsh and misguided. Granted I wasnt at the game in question and cant comment on umpiring decisions, I can comment on Stewarts charactor which you have clearly attacked. He may have made some very poor decisions, but that is to be expected from someone umpiring their third game of senior football, with no formal training at all. Stewart has absolutly no reason to be bias against Moulamien whatso ever, to the contrary, Nullawill and Ultima have been the fiercest of rivels over many years, espesially throughout his tenure as President of the Ultima football Club. It is my suggestion that the umpiring wasnt up to standard because of lack of experience and definately not because of a personal dislike of the Moulamien Football Club.

On The Track, I also find it very unfair that you have choosen this forum to name an umpire that you have issues with instead of using the proper channels provided by the league. I am sure that at each senior game yesterday people had problems with some decisions, yet you are the only person who chose to air these problems here. Unless you want to put your name up here and tell us who you are, and what official title you hold at the Moulamien Football Club, dont smear anyone elses character.

Just 1 thing track, i have to agree with the others, as much as we know who the umps are, u shouldnt of mention the poor buggers name... The umpiers wernt the best against the Macorna vs Murrabit game, they cost some goals in the game, but there only human the all make mistakes. I have no problem with the umpires, however they like the players have area's to improve, and protecting the ball player may be one. I reckon they could also avoid a lot of ball ups if they let the play go for a little longer. To often the whistle is blown when there is a real chance for the ball to be cleared. This would provide a more open game and a better specticle.

On track, this would have to be the worst post I have read on this forum to personaly attack the credentials of one umpire and naming him is to the detriment of our league that you are Quote "trying to improve" as Vice President of the Ultima Football Club, I think Moula's form is great for the league. Stewart King would be the last person that would have any reason to be bias against your club. Have a think about what you post next time and don't let your emotions cloud your common sence.

I actually thought there were a lot of downfields paid (to the point where they were possibly a bit too hot on it, but no complaints). And it's the same old story: we don't mind an umpire's interpretation of a rule, so long as he is consistent in its application, and I thought there wasn't a great deal to whinge about in that regard. Did anyone else on the ground (or at the game for that matter) think either ump was obviously biased?

The umpiring was not biased in any way, it was consistent! The umpires consistantly made the decisions, whether rite or wrong is going to differ on how everyone seen the game. The umpires decision is final, whether u like it or not, all we can ask for is consistency! There was some frustration shown by young Howdo when Kingy wasnt quite getting into the rite positions, but he's learning the ropes and having a crack. To the bloke who got on here and canned him, if ya can do better yourself pull on an orange shirt and get out there rather than sittin behind a screen name and knocking a bloke who's got the balls to become an umpire!

Isn't it funny that a couple of years ago, Moula hired an absolute knob of a coach, who would be happy to blind side players with elbows, get sent off and abused the crowd on the way off, and yet On the Track can talk about one game taking the league back to 1970's reserve standard.

Fair enough appologises to him for naming him you guys are correct in that area, in my defence he has umpired plenty of ressie games to stop the sniping is what I'm getting at if the penalties are applied early in the game then the players won't behave in that manner will they.Isnt that why we have penalties or do we just have a free for all and last man standing wins the game?????As for the send off's he performed full credit to him if players want to behave in this manner then sit on the bench and have a think about it.
And no these are my views not the clubs so stick it to me not the club:p:p:p:p

I played over 200 games of major league football and when i was finished i tried umpiring to put something back into the game and all ican say is umpiring is a lot harder than playing, you have to be just as fit just as smart and just as brave to be an umpire as a footballer.Anyone who wants to criticise umps should grab a whistle one weekend and umpire a kids game even-a real eye opener.

Oh sorry Parrot, Well its quite hard to say what spots we actually won. I think we just won it in great sparks we had in each quater.... Like it was even rite threw the game. We just had 5-10 min hot patches in each quater, when Murrabit lied down a bit.
I wouldnt write Murrabit of this year, Even if they are 1-3. They have played all the hardest teams to start of. All they have to do is win 4 of the next 5 games and they will back up there. There are bloody good team. They won the Cup last year & so they know how to win the big games...

Parrot I'd say the game was won because of the 3 goals to nothing they kicked in the 3rd term this was the final margin. Similar to your game against them, four goals to nothing in the second i believe?
Falling down up forward would sum it up by the looks.

Mate, do u realise that it was that lil #2 fa Moulamein that did the 'sniping' against Nully on the weekend. Glenn Smith wasnt even facing him when he ran strait up the back of him with a bump, over 50m off the ball? Smith was watching the game unfold and some lil prick does something as low as that!! Thats when the blew started on the weekend! So pull ya head out of your arse and have a look at your own backyard before making shit accusations. You blokes are as bad as anyone in the league! The umpires shouldnt have to look for the hits so far behind play, they should be watching the game unfold and making the decisions as they see them in play

Yes.
truly i have to ask, i was told quamby was a respected club, honest and with very strong values.
whilst i respect everyone's right to play, it is also everyone elses right not to play.
I wonder if quambatook members know the quality of people they have recruited to their club this year?
If you have something to say toxic just come out and say it
I have plenty to say thanks roota, i'm sure there are rules and regulations for this forum as well as legal ramifications as well.
Let's just say justice is coming.

Why bring it up then? It's a personal issue that should remain that way. Nothing to do with the club. Be very careful not to slander.
agreed probably wrong forum for it, and yes being very careful of the slander issue.
it is nothing against the quambatook fc itself, it is very personal.

Has the man in question here been playing for the past coupla weeks? Couldnt help but notice he hasnt been in the best players or goal kickers, very unlike him as he is a gun footballer??
Nackas,
Not sure about the past couple of weeks, but am very keen to know. Have only just returned to the state after playing up north and am pretty keen to catch up.
not sure nackas, does anyone know?

Thank you Blow in I've been wondering how long it would take for someone to make such a comment about this lot. But no drama's I doubt that I will bother with this site again as it's ok to have your say as long as it isn't about their team or members...
See you at the granny boys when the Red and White are holding up the cup and you lot all can borrow some of those special wipes off can play:)
mmm you would think you boys would have learnt from last year that grandfinals aren't won in may!!! You got to earn the respect...and you still got along way to go:thumbsu:

All you Cocky Moula Boys who have posted in the last 2 months saying how good you are all and that the flag has already won...... What do you all have to say now??? . Wandella, They were last years Grand Finalest. They have to be given some respect. And I know its a long way to go from now to the end of the season. This year is a wide open for at least 5 teams in the league. So no one knows who is going to win...

I wouldn't get too worried about dropping one game. If we had of kicked straight, especially in the second quarter it would have been a different story. But bad kicking is bad footy. I guess we will know where we stand after playing your mob this week. Should be a good game. See ya there foxy.;)

A lot of people are underestimating Wandella... They are 5 and 0 and have defeated Murrabit and Moula. But still people don't think they will go to well this year... Can play, yes it may of been a different out come if the moula boys had kicked straight but then again, in the end Wandella still had more scoring shots....

Stand out players were Ryan Lancaster, Will Callow, Ash Wilson, Brett Hay etc.:thumbsu:. It was a pretty good team effort all over the ground but moulamein had some dicipline issues and gave away vital 50 metre free kicks late in the game

You Moula blokes are unbelievable. You responded to a legitimate question - which many people would probably like to know the answer to - with bullsh!t that doesn't help anybody. This forum is about news and opinions on FOOTBALL matters. What are you actually trying to acheive by the way you guys behave on here? Your not earning anyone's respect, and you'll probably say that you don't want or need respect, and that would basically sum up your attitude - self-centred. As an outsider, I just hope that your views aren't a true representation of those of your football club. Start playing footy for the respect of your peers (at least in some part) like everyone else.
{Sorry everyone, that was very "high-horse". But my god...}

It would be a sad day for the moula footy club if true. To lose your captain who is no.1 in hard ball gets and clearances and can kick the ball 70 metres off both feet would be a terrible lose. Can't replace those sort of players.

He would be scoring directly after the bounce at Moultown. The ball would be stuck half way up a gum. How would they get the ball down?? Would they climb it or just swing from the one they are already in.
