Hey guys,

I see in the results that Macorna have been struggling a little this year.

But can anyone tell me how Scott 'Plugger' Wishart has been performing??

If he can get as many kicks as he used to eat dim sims, then he must be flying...

Ha ha ha ha yeah he has lost a fair bit of weight and I have only seen him play one game and he certainly looks fitter.... Didn't set the world on fire though....

Back to the footy boys. How do people think the mighty blues are travelling at present, are they favourites to make it back to back this year? They appear to have improved since getting rid of some of their 'dead wood' to the Central Murray the last year or so. What do you think Bowser, you seem to be the most inteligent person on this thread.;)

I have no problem with Ultima talk on here but it does appear that most of their members lack any type of football knowledge and mainly have their heads up their team mates a. holes. Granted i actually enjoy the GR coments and observations of a few so maybe you other one's can take a leaf...

if my memory serves me correctly iamfooty, it is you who brought up the comment of too much "Ultima talk" and took a personal shot at us (F A G S) and we are merely sticking together and sticking up for ourselves and our club which i cant think of anything better to see within a footy club, it show great unity. if you had of kept your talk on footy issues then this wouldnt have become a problem... once again, warm regards iamfooty

i've read your post tripod and anyone would seem inteligent compared to you. the blues are travelling well at present, but with such and even comp this year, they need to make sure they keep it up. i think a number of teams can win the flag this year. the hard part at the moment is just making the finals. after that it will be a toss of the coin.

Yeah I think that the premiers of "05" are the yard stick for this year also. which i guess would make them favourites again Pod. Not familiar with any of the "dead wood" that they lost to CMFL. Now now boys, lets concentrate on the games at hand today, because there will be no time tommorow, I hear Clifton has his finger on the pulse.

Wandella v Murrabit: The blues to restamp some authority on the comp.

Nully v Wakool: For me match of the round: Nullly by a point.

Moula v Hay: Hay by 10 goals, the Moula community will still be in shock after reading Friday's Gaurdian.

Quamby v Ultima: Not far off match of the round. Game that has most at stake. Quamby by 7 points. *Tip - Look for fwds/backs on both teams to swap at half time like in u/10 games.

Wakool needed to spend big. Don't worry their payed players are getting them over the line in the close ones. Watched Quamby take it up to them for 3 and a half quaters last week at Wakool, Quamby seemed to be able to take advantage around the flanks. Can only asume Ultima were similar the week b4. It seems at present Nully are a little stronger than those 2 with possibly better avenues to goal.

As for money thing. No one is spending excessive amounts other than Wakool but then again most clubs don't need to give their players a map and a tank of fuel to get to the ground. All clubs would have a few players getting more than they're worth but what's new.

Lets get back onto the topic of the new Moulamein coach, Jones I'm pretty sure his name is. If I remember correctly the Guardian stated that he had played representative footy in the Ballarat League and the Central Highlands footy league (minor league in Ballarat) which is not true at all. I have it from a very reliable source within the Ballarat area that this bloke that Moulamein is going nuts over has barely touched his own balls let alone the one we kick around on Saturdays. Another quality report by the Guardian.
Love your work Mr Lookalike, Im sure there were plenty of people being a little tight lipped during pre-season though. It has not panned out quite the way the Moula brains trust may have hoped but I believe that Travis Pryor will be a great leader of that club and they will deffinately move forward from here. Once again great call in march.:thumbsu:

But actually what i want to talk about is the time keeping. What's with the game finishing at 4.15. I know it was low scoring but i've got a suspicion that we lost maybe 5 mins of each qtr???

Are you saying that the quaters went for 15 min + time on instead of 20 min + time on. I disagree.
It was a very low scoring game and the umpires let the play go and didnt ball it up many times at all, hence not much time on.:thumbsu:

yaaablett, no-one can get near him. Has bulked up in the off season (big weights regime) and is busting packs as well. Took him a couple of weeks to get used to the extra pace of the GRFL, but has since settled in enormously well. Yes many moons ago. The bloke needs a walking stick these days and hasn't played for a year or so. Recently decided to play a few games with his son, is getting better with each game, still lacking a bit of match fitness.

Probably false i'd reckon. Hard to make the interleague team from the 2's. Long way off the 1's yet.
