If the roles were reversed, the last thing I would want to see is one of the traditional victorian clubs fold or merge.

Get your hand off it. Most Carlton supporters and the previous administrations would have been stoked to see many teams in the past fold, and were quite happy when they did.
I genuinely hate Carlton more than any AFL club - easily ( I was a 70's child), but I don't want them or any club to fold.

I'm sure the majority of Carlton supporters wouldn't care if another club folded.

I don't want them to fold, it's great beating them now when they are crap, but it's even better beating them when they were a formidable side, like in the 93 grand final.. Great day.

I'm sure they had the pleasure in the 99 Prelim. A flag which was supposedly Essendon's right to win. As a side note, I wouldn't care if Essendon folded either.
