I commented elsewhere earlier this week and mojo has posted something in his draft profile thread, but I thought I would start a clean thread on this.
As I said earlier in the week I have decided to spend more time on other interests this year which means I won’t be spending as much time on Bigfooty as I have in the past or be continuing with the role on footydraft.
Thanks to all the people who gave positive feedback on footydraft last year, it was very much appreciated.
There are some really good people within the draft and trading board especially, and there are a few of you I hope to keep in contact with in some form in the future.
As for footydraft, the site continued to grow last year and has the ability to continue to grow. I’ll be catching up with the Admin of the site next week to see what they are planning to do and at that point put forward some suggested improvements and some names of possible replacements. I'll post more mid next week.

Well done Footyman.
Mojo's done a great job on his top 30 and I think that would make a fantastic basis for Footydraft this year. I nominate him to do it, if he's willing.

Mojo has said he's not interested, unfortunately, but if he's not, I'd like to nominate Weaver, who did a tremendous job with profiles last year.

Thanks for the comments there guys.
mojo31 has said he isn't interested both publicly on here and by PM to me. Those of us with suspicious minds still believe mojo31 isnt quite fully revealing his identity, especially due to his strong understanding of the inside rumblings at Carlton. ;)
I've got a couple of ideas for replacements in mind who I will suggest but essentially it will be up to Appleyard to decide, but I'd assume it would be in the best interests of the site to get two or three people to share the load this year.
Anyway I'll be passing on some stuff tomorrow night so hopefully in the next week or so those who are going to take it on are decided cos just over two weeks from Round 1.
Thanks for the efforts you have put into Footydraft Footyman. As a person who looks forward to trade week and the draft every year, but does not get the oppotunity to go and see the kids play, your player info has been fantastic.

Thanks footyman for the time you have put into that site. Greatly appreciated.
On a much less signigicant scale, unfortunatley, I am also going to be unable to post much on the draft either (not that I am saying I added anything anyway :p)
Well done Footyman on your work for 2005. It takes a lot of work and is much appreciated by me.

Ditto from me.
Thanks Footyman, I know it must have taken a lot of work but it was very informative and much appreciated.
All the best.

Congrats Footy. It's amazing you are still sane after your efforts in 2005 and the flack that came your way now and again. So many opinions and so little time. :D
Enjoy 2006. No doubt you will be kicking back enjoying yourself while your friends are doing the hard yards up and down the freeways of Victoria.
See you round the traps. :thumbsu:
