103.4 Kumble to Panesar, WICKET, all over! tossed up and turning in, Panesar pushes forward to defend and the ball goes off the outside edge, clips the keeper's pad but Dravid at first slip holds on well, this is Kumble at his best!
103.3 Kumble to Panesar, no run, line and length, Panesar defends it down on the off side
Panesar is the last man in and he will face the hat-trick ball!
103.2 Kumble to Harmison, WICKET, there it is! 500th Test wicket and it's a flipper that does the trick, too good a delivery for Harmison and he is trapped plumb in front of the stumps, loud appeal and up goes the finger - England nine down
103.1 Kumble to Jones, WICKET, well bowled leg-break, Jones pushes forward to defend, ball clips the inside edge, hits the pad and rolls into the stumps, wicket number 499! sad end to a fine innings!

Great work Anil Kumble on picking up his 500 Test Wicket. Pity he couldn't do a Mcgrath and get a hat-trick on a milestone (Mcgrath got 299,300 and 301 on a hat-trick I think?)

Anyhow, great job Anil, been the real trojan for the Indian team for the last 15 years ...

Better still Mcgrath pretty much predicted his wickets!!! Said he'd get sherwin campbell for 299 and Lara for 300!!!!

But well done to kumble!!

What a legend, a near perfect way to pick up the 500th. Hopefully he can kick on for a couple more years.

Probably the least rated bowler to get to 500 but that effort in Sydney a few years ago when he picked up 7 or 8 was probably his best.

Yep, wonderful bowler, and apparently, a gentleman.

Statistics rarely impress me, but this bloke does.
