The guy is so strong overhead, and reads the play better than any player in the cats team. Let him provide a target and have ottens, and kingsley deeper.
We would always have a target.

It's an interesting idea as a third tall. I think that a few things need to be considered though, if that was to happen -
Egan needs to play CHB, thereby releasing Harley to become the "floater" across the back fifty, otherwise we don't have that "chop-out" guy
Harley, Eags and Scarlo ALL must be fit
We need to find a way to accomodate Playfair, Ottens, Kingsley and Milburn into the same foward fifty.
It's that last one that I can't work out. Too many talls for my liking which leaves just SJ and Gaz/Chap/Stokes/Byrnes to hoover up the crumbs. Leave him where he is on balance, he should have been AA.

Keep Milburn where he is as the loose HBF, fringe midfielder. He can and often drifts down when needed. He has been tried on the Forward line before but as a long term project isnt viable. You should have Henry as your tall marking CHF (yea I know Jack) Otto, Kent, Nathan, as your other talls, where would you put him.
Last year it worked a treat against Cornes who isnt accountable so for occasions it is much better to sneak him up as a pinch hitter rather than a permanent forward.
Anyway it would leave a hole in our backline which is where our drive comes from.

that's exactly right egan is the key if he can become and strong centre half-back not only could milburn play foward but our defence would have 3 players that could all take the best forward and mooney could play forward instead of milburn

Definitely think he is worth a shot at times. Milburn, Enright and to a lesser extent, Corey, all play a similar role on the HBF. At least one of them should be drifting forward from the wing to provide an extra target up forward. The great thing about these blokes is their reading of the play and their strength overhead for their relative size. Very handy and dangerous players but we need to exploit them more.
I'd use him up there as a pinch hitter or watever aswell. When it isnt working with Henry or whoever else is up there, or against certain teams play Dasher up forward but I'd leave him to his normal role for now

Spot on. Especially against smaller attacking CHB's like Cornes (certainly worked last time around) & MacGuire. Makes them more accountable and reduces their willingness to run off him.
Dasher reads the game better than most, is good in the air and can win his own ball on the ground. He has also developed a bit more mongrel during the off season which may be a result of us trying to intimidate opposition sides. I like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
