Channel 14 on Foxtel - the new Footy Channel.
Every 20 minutes or so, you get to see a condensed version of the Grand Final.
I get a great sense of well being when seeing the footage, and I feel good until the next time I see it.
The slow motion stuff when the siren goes, I must admit to choking up everytime I see it.
I love that loop, I love my football team and I love this game.
How right you are Brisgirl!! When I crawled out of bed saturday morning I was nicely surprised to find myself watching a GF highlights package on ch14 instead of the news!!
That footage at the end is fantastic. I hadn't seen the footage of Voss reacting to the siren before, it just gives me chills!!
And the slow motion stuff set to music after the footy highlights is great too, ending with lynch holding the cup in black and white. It is a great highlights package!
I love it!! I'll be able to see live footy action during the season *shocked*
And that loop.... It's great!!!

All that stuff's great. What about that terrific monologue with William McInnes? The one that ends with Vossy bombing one through the big sticks into the camera lens... T'riffic stuff!

I am starting to have my favourite parts:-
One is when Power kicks the sealer in the 4th Qtr and Voss is behind him and both of them running with their hands up. (There is a photo in the Premiership book of the same moment) I love the way that moment has been captured.
The other is the slow motion part after the siren of the loop, when the Essendon players are walking away from our goal end and in the back ground is all of the Lions Flags waving. That is beautiful to watch.
