Just to let you all know that Lee has been fined about 75% of his match payments, for the breach of two ICC Code of Conduct
1) Crude and Abbusive langage and offensive Gestures, and
2) Bringing the game into disrepute.

Now I am one of the many chicks throughout Australia that support Brett Lee, and I am aware that it was a spare of the moment thing, excitement of getting the wicket of Shane Bond. I wouldn't imagine that Brett would of done this insaine gesture, if he had control of him emotions. Emotions are there to be shown and god knows guys don't express theirs enough, so they come out at the worst times and get them into trouble some of the time.

A fine is always better than suspension!!!!!

Why is it that the Aussies always seem to be the worst offenders at this sort of thing?

D.K.Lillee ... you've got a LOT to answer for.

You have to feel sorry for fast bowlers these days though. The administrators have been looking after sook batsmen for too long now I reckon.

You can't shake 'em up with a few bouncers anymore and now you can't explain to them where the pavilion is after you clean bowl them.....It's just not cricket.

Who wants to go and watch a bunch of robots on the field? I will end up like AFL and those ridiculous "melees" where players push and shove but don't have a real go..... BRING BACK THE PERSONALITIES INTO SPORT.... DK would be a good start.

Insane gesture???

He's just being the good host and helping the tourist out with directions to the pavilion.:D

It's funny how after all of this Indian-Denness **** goes on Lee gets fined $8000 for that. The Indians (mainly Singh and Ganguly) gave Warney and vicious send off in Calcutta, but nothing happened. In fact they did it often, and good on them...they had to get on top mentally.

This game is being ruined by wimps and do-gooders. Political Correctness sucks hard.

I just fell off my chair, I agree 100% with you on this. You'd think he just got Tendulkar first ball rather than the Kiwi's number 11 with them at 500 odd. He's done it all the time and it's ****ing embarrassing to see him running down the pitch skipping in the air and waving his finger around. He needs to pull his head in quite a bit because at the moment he's really bowling short rubbish most of the time and only slightly faster than Dizzy.

Bloody hell, some of you have short memories. The WI not so many years ago were shockers at showing batsmen the way to the pavillion, and you forget Shoab Aktar's running straight at a dismissed batsman screaming like a maniac after he got someone out (which, admittedly didn't happen too many times here :p )

I'm not saying the Aussies don't go over the top sometimes, but it just seems fashionable to throw the blame onto them whenever something happens, but conveniently forget every other side does it too.
