Interesting comparison, would you prefer a team that has plenty of blokes in their last few seasons of AFL with little young talent or would you prefer to have a team that has few older players but many good young kids who have potential but have yet to prove themselves at the top level.
For example you got a team that features many players that have 0-20 games or a team of seasoned campaigners that features many players who have 200-300+ games under their belts but have few seasons left. So in a nutshell would you prefer to have a list with heaps of potential yet little proof in the AFL or would you prefer a team with heaps of experience but with many with only 4 or less seasons in the tank?

Personally say young list due to the fact that although ou could have a few dud draftees and the aging are proven, the youngsters could prove themselves and work together and then while the aging team will have to become a young team, the young team will slowly become a prime age team which sets them probably for a premiership.

Strange question mate...I would prefer my team to win games and hopefully a premiership, why would I care how old they are?
Most supporters would want whatever team got them a flag the quickest.

Yeah agreed, but the question is, would you like to have a future after your old blokes retire or would you want a premiership or tow and then your experienced players retire and then you have a shoddy team or do you want a young team who wll build up and eventually win premierships. I think I'd go young, more enjoyable to watch your team go from young guns to superstars.

If you had to chose between a really good crack at the flag this season or next season or a maybe, could have some succes with these kids in 5 or 6 years time, there is no contest, you would take the older blokes.
A very young team does not win premierships, its usually that cliched 'blend of youth and experience'. Young players will benefit from veterans around them and vice versa.
