OK guys - people who are in Melbourne, I was thinking that we should probably get something together to go and watch the game. (I'm thinking of Some Watering Hole, Somewhere). This may well fall flat on its a-r-s-e, but if you guys are up for this then say so and suggest a favoured footy-watching pub. With any luck we might be able to get a reasonable group along, and with even more luck we may even win.

I just can't handle watching Geelong in pubs. I just can't do it for so many reasons.

Oh sorry, this is totally irrelevant.

Geez I'd be there, South Melbourne is close to me, but I have to go to my stoopid sister's birthday dinner. Maybe I can make the second half.

Whats worse is that her birthday is today. She only shifted the dinner to tomorrow today. Cow.

Who is your sister, Hitler?? Tell her is being tight (and that its too short notice) that she moved the date and that you will show up after the games finished for dessert!

Ah, how many an occassion I have missed out on due to the footy! :D Easters, christenings, etc, etc,!

Geez, I wish I could make it, but being in Atlanta and all doesn't help. I can't even recommend a good footy pub, because I rarely went into the city. Damn outer suburbs...

This may need a separate thread. Does anyone know a place in Sydney CBD (or nearby), where I can watch the game live, as opposed to an 11 pm delay telecast ?
