Do you listen to the football on K-Rock and how do you rate it?

I don't rate it at all.

Amateurish, uninformed and biased is how I'd describe it.

I tend to think it is below average. The commentator are not great. Mitho, Michael Christian, Billy (although funny cant commentate to save himself) and the Snake (Peter Pearson).

Bring back Teddy (although impossible).

I think they need a fresh approach.

But of course they are bias they are a Geelong station.

The games they call when they're not covering Geelong games are OK.

There seems to be a completely different commentary team including special comments, statistician and boundary rider. Not hundred per cent on names but they do reasonable job.

Always listen to a station that has just covered the geelong game for the trip back to melbourne. 3aw or 3lo are my top choices but if they haven't covered the cats game I would put the radio on K rock.

Mark Doran [SEN],Ian Roberstson [ex ch7],Doug Hawkins and sometimes another ex player do special comments on non-Geelong games and I think Mark Fine [SEN] sometimes does the boundary riding on sunday games not involving Geelong.

K rock is great to listen to if you want a Geelong slant to the game. Billy, Rat and Mick M are all biased as hell and really barrack rather than comment. Throw in Michael Christian, or Robbo (2 of the worst commentators going around) and the line up is pretty bad IF YOU BASE IT ON UNBIASED QUALITY FOOTBALL COMMENTATING.

Rex Barracks for the Tigers and gets away with it. Bloody Walls and Lane toss off over the Blues every chance they get, so I actually dont see a Problem with it at all. ITs our town, Our Club and our Local Radio Station.

Ever been to Adealide or Perth and listen to the footy. K Rock is above that level at least.

I like it because it is pro Geelong:thumbsu: and, I don't want to hear about other teams. Some of the commentators are average though but they usually have some good interviews.

Go CATS!!

Correct.

Gotta say i enjoy it also because they actually support Geelong.

I see nothing wrong with what they do. It's a Geelong radio station commentating on their team. Who cars if they are biased? I certainly don't!

GO CATS!

Sure they are biased but so what?

Those d-icks from Perth and Adelaide are alot worse. I remember listening to a WC v Geelong game. We ended up losing by just 2 points, but you would have thought there was only one team out there!

its geelong biased and that's why I like it lol... though to be fair if an oppision player is doing well they'll always praise him. Besides when they had Micky turner on the books it all evened out as Geelong could be up by 20 goals and old Micky could still find things to criticise Geelong's performance with.
