It may only be a NAB Cup, but we're in the Grand Final, we have our chance. I say we take it.:D

I only want to win for ONE reason. I never EVER want to lose again. But this is a game worth less than round 1, 2, 3, 4, well you get the point. I am more interested to how
Our injured players are coming along
Our kids will go against a mature side in Adelaide
We travel
The final score, well I dont care. Means NEINTE

Best of luck Geelong. Hopefully you come out with the win and wipe tha cocky grin off those feral Adelaide supporters. :D
We will be cheering you on, not just because we hate your opposition but because a friend of my mum (who is Bring it on) is a Geelong supporter. He cheers on our team when not playing your guys so we will return the favour.

I hate the situation we're in. If we lose it will be a case of "here we go again, number 10 in a row, Geelong will never win another flag". If we lose it will be "WOW, CATS BREAK HOODOO, BOB DAVIS TIPS BEGINNING OF DYNASTY".
I just hope we play well and no one gets injured. I'll be happy if we win but not unhappy if we lose as long as we play well.

Hmm. Now I'm not at all confident, BUT the bookies had us at $3.30 at one stage. I reckon that's value. Real value. The players tonight are not just going to give it away if things get tough. We could see a typical North Melbourne win. Er, maybe not, I'm still hung over.
Happy St Pats day.

Well it seems I'm not the only one who feels wierd about this whole "grand final" NAB cup thing. I'll be excited and happy with a win but if we loose I don't mind to much, I mean we are expected to loose. I hope the media don't go nuts about it if we loose. I can just imagine what the papers will say 2moro -hoodoo this hoodoo that. :( I hope we win.
C'MON CATTAS!

A bet for either side to win by less than 16pts at tab sportsbet looked the best option for this game. Paying $3.70 last night.
Be wary though, following my tips will soon empty your pockets !!!!
The cats will have a real dip as always.
Its time.

If we win let's face it....it means next to nothing. I'd rather a guaranteed 4 points in round 1 than a win tonight and i'm hoping you all feel that way too. I reckon losing tonight would keep the hunger for winning the real cup strong, not like we need much motivation after the Nick Davis goal.
Hopefully we play good football and have something to take into round 1 in a few weeks. A loss isn't a bad thing at all. Seeing us celebrate a practice match would be awfully sad. Let the toothless crows ferals have that.
I just want to wish you all the best of luck for tonight.
It may be 'only a preseason grandfinal' but it'd be nice to see you guys win. I've always had alot of time for the Catters and like seeing them do well after the Eagles ;-)
Goodluck and i hope you all enjoy the match.
Cheers and best of luck,
Carlyp

I'm not sure what to think about today's game. It would be a great boost to win it, and it would shake off this hoodoo that everyone seems to be talking about, but at the same time it really is nothing more than a glorified practice match, and so in that sense I just want the team to get as much out of it as possible without anyone getting injured. A win, and the rewards and whatever else that go with it, are pretty much a bonus.
Of course, since the game starts at about 3am my time I'll just have to find out what happened when I wake up :p

I know it doesnt mean anything but I'd take the win tonight over the four points in Rd. 1 - JUST SO I NEVER HAVE TO HEAR THAT STAT AGAIN - blah blah blah lost last nine GFs blah blah blah.
It would be great to get the monkey off our back.
Hope its a good one.
We will be making a statement if we win !!!!
Go Cats

Its a small win / big loss situation. Not much to gain from a win but we WILL cop flak from another loss , have no fear. Worthless or not Id rather win, win by heaps and worry about Rd1 when it comes

Well said Turbo.
I dont want to hear the "Lost last Ten GFs" stat come the last week of Sept this year.
A win would provide good momentum for the future- most Sept. winners usually pick up a March prize on the way.

Agree, agree and yeah agree!! If we want to start winning GFs, why not begin with a pre-season one??!

Too bad I couldn't go and watch it or even see it on the TV, but it's lovely to wake up and see the Catters take this one out. It'll certainly be another spur to take it to the next level.
Let's hope the injury situation is not too bad.
