Only 5 behinds for the night. I really couldn't believe what I was seeing.
And Hunts Super Goal!
It reeked of confidence as he streamed towards the 50 with the ball tucked under his arm while sticking out his free hand and calling for a team mate to apply the shepard.
He never looked like missing as he took the shot.
Good point, so many of our 'honourable' losses interstate have been as a result of kicking points at crucial times... this time we nailed the important ones : )

Could have been even better had Tenace and Byrnes not missed relatively easy shots running into goal.
Anyone else notice how close Byrnes got to missing that shot on the run in the last quarter ?? It almost shaved the post.
Big Henry Playfair's shot from outside 50m was a cracker......let's hope it's a sign of things to come in 2006 as this was not a strong part to his game last year.

Gotta say the Shepparton boys' kicking has left me somewhat nervous of late. Did you see Byrnesy turn around to check whether the goal went through? But overall the goal kicking was much better than it has been lately.
