Geez, after the last test, it seems obvious that we are carrying a few passengers on the team, and they could be a liability for us against the South African's this time around.
Well, Steve Waugh is having a dog of a time batting wise, and if he's struggilng to the NZ piethrowers, imagine how he's going to cope against Donald, Ntini, Kallis, Klusener and Pollock.
Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne have had a disappointing series with the ball, but with tests being played in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney being more friendly to thier bowling styles, this might change.
We need to improve bigtime, Daniel Vettori mesmorised us throughout the test series and was unlucky not to be given "Man of the Series", luckily the South African's don't have a good spinner, but they can still do some damage with the ball.
But, their attack has a lot of similarity about it doesn't it, they have 5 quicks and no decent spinners or medium pacers, but we've enjoyed our entree (New Zealand), now let's go for the main course (South Africa)
