It will be a good game tomorrow down at Noarlunga. Troy and I will be making the trip down there to cheer on the black and white.

Just on the Port side, I see Butcher is ex bay player Troy Butcher who just signed with Port. Who's Crabbe? Macca? Anyone?

White would probably be Brett not Damon. Symes not playing for Centrals - did he get injured last week or is that suggesting they've seen all they need to see from him?

Probably they didn't convince the AFL that Symes needed SANFL game time to find/keep form considering he's played every game.

Clayton Crabbe is a Ruck/Key Forward. Quite well built.

Players on the allowed-to-play list that aren't in those teams:
South - Dean Brogan
West - Michael Pettigrew, Peter Walsh
Sturt - Adam Thomson, Toby Thurstans
Centrals - Elijah Ware

Carlile and Surjan (and White) aren't on the list

Disappointed not to see Ware's name in the Centrals side. Presumably he is back playing footy now - probably working his way back through ressies.

Elijah is a real unknown entity for me - he was before his injury and of course the uncertainty around his ability has increased much more given his knee recon. I just haven't see him play enough footy for Centrals.

Is anyone here confident that in twelve months he could have a real impact for us?

Dunno. Depends how fit he can get now. He was quite quick and very silky skilled. Hopefully a lot of that is still there.

I think there were question marks over what kind of impact he could have with us anyway....the knee injury just adds more queries.

He could have a big impact or he could end up like some of our other smaller forward pocket/midfield types from the past

South 20-12
Port 19-10

Wangas played a half, Wakelin 3 qtrs, Wilson most of the game according to Abba on 7 news (sorry, no link ;) ). All 3 got thru ok.

Was at the game today. Wanga's did well so did Wilbur and Wakelin. No injuries to the players which was good.
Wanga's only played half the game and the rest played most.

Was good to see Choco there sitting in the stand with his kids. He went to the huddle in the quarter time breaks and enjoyed being a dad at half time. He was on the oval with everyone else kicking around the footy. Good on him.

As far as South goes, Cupido kicked 6 goals 1 point for them. Sh*t that guy can kick a ball. Pity he wasnt picked up by the maggies.

Great to see Jeremy out there playing again after his injury last year. Poults did really well for those that are interested (CBA :D).

According to other reports (courtesy of Anthony Barich, SM) Ezard "rotated well through the midfield, while ... Peter Walsh was simply sublime across halfback..." Eckermann and Deluca each kicked a goal for Sturt. All results only had goal kickers, not best players.

Top 3 draft tip Bryce Gibbs was reportedly best for the Bays ;) .

Willits 2nd best for Glenelg (no goals so don't know what position he played).
Ezard 4th best for West (wouldn't ya know it, I'm a poet ... :o )

Read on ninemsn that Surjan has a calf problem. Would explain his non-appearance for the magpies.
