A couple of the boys have been named in WAFL squads this week and will get another chance to press for Round 1 selection.
The ones that i know of are as follows.
Graham Polak (EF)
Roger Hayden (SF)
Jarrad Schofield (Subi)
Daniel Haines (Peel)
Adam Campbell (WP)
Slacker

It's good to see Haines get back on the field. The poor buggers been crippled with injury, so much bad luck! I hope he finally makes it, doubtful for round 1 though. Hayden would be in the same category.
It's a pity we don't see Sir Robert on that list. I guess he will be missing round 1, and no Thornton either.
How Schofield managed to get clearance to play in the WAFL this weekend has got me stumped! I thought you had to miss most pre-season games to get a run? Didn't he play all 3?

Scott Thornton will line-up for the Bulldogs. Thornton expected to play a half of football in the reserves in his first match of the pre-season.

I'm sure IP and family will go. They're long standing Souths supporters. But someone will need to send her a reminder SMS an hour before the game.

Gonna get there if I can, but there's one kid with a birthday party to go to, another with drama classes to be dropped off at and picked up from, the other with a tennis lesson in there somewhere....
And you'd better not call my turn-coat, one-eyed, Sharks-supporting son a Souths supporter. The consequences could get ugly. ;)

i think they are letting scofield play the wafl because he wont play afl rest of the season :D

Well the Bulldogs beat the Bullfrogs by a mere 98 points. :thumbsu:
I only saw the last quarter, but Christ they looked awful in green. No wonder they played like carp.
Polly looked okay in that last quarter, as did Roger the Dodger. Heard that Duff played an outstanding 4 quarters. Anyone up for nobbling Schofield so we can elevate the Duffman??
