The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) survey ranked Melbourne, Vancouver and Vienna as the best cities for expatriates to live, with Perth fourth and Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney equal sixth.
Okay, wrong survey to quote. Vancouver's a nice place to live but you'd better be ready for 9 months of solidly crap weather. How do you give top spot to a town with a forecast of "showers with occasional rainy periods' from September to May? I don't care if Sydney gets more water, I want more sunny days. Clear win to Sydney.
Yeah, and I'll watch just about any sport if I can't find something better.

They just can't stand that the fact that the weather is better hence people spend more time outdoors up north rather than being closed up inside and cheering on any garbage that is shown on tv.
But hey it's the most livable city in the world, even though 6 out of 7 days its cold and grey. Lovely.
