I Kicked 2 goals and that is about it. Rocko did well played on the ball for the second half, he will go alright in divvy 2. Briggsy went down back for a bit and controlled the game from there, we have to deliver the ball better to him when he is in the forward line, we just keeped bombing it down to him and he was a sitting duck for the backman. He nearly took mark of the year but dropped it at the last second.
It was played at Wallan, we had about 8 senoir players out but I'm sure they had a few out aswell.

Yeah Briggsy is good value at either end of the square (CHB or CHF) and he will lead from the front. Thats not a bad result overall Moxy. Rocko played a huge part in our 2001 flag win over Mernda, and he was only 19 at the time. If he got fit, he could be as big a recruit as Briggsy.
Whats the latest on Mazey???

Who were the other 2 Moxy? Are they out of form or do they need match fitness?
Good result for you against Marby, were the 8 senior players out regulars?
Any other injury news? Chad will be a big loss, did well against us last year, in and under and always hard at it.:thumbsu:

The other person who played on friday night was o'conner. The reason why some of the boys missed saturdays game is a long story. The Marby match was origanally going to be played on a Sunday, because of our committment to the night series. So people had made arrangements to work and so on. Then it was changed back to Saturday hence the 8 missing players.
The people that were missing were regular one's players ie: Clayton Rogers, Matt Gibson and Geoff o'conner

Parkside and west will be a good hit out, both sides would be close to fielding a full side.

Parkside will have 3-4 out but have lost 5 players to other clubs and 4 retirements. Think west have picked up a few of Strathmore's borderline players so should improve on last year

Watsonia v Panton Hill played yesterday, PH got up by 3 goals. Poor game skills wise but Watsonia do look to have picked up considerably from last year. Wouldn't say Panton Hill have gone backwards either.

how did mont go
Monty played Chelsea.
The seniors game was great. Very close game up until 3/4 time, where Monty went into the last with a one point lead kicking against the wind. Ended up kicking 5 or so goals against the wind to have a win. Ottens dominated.
Not too sure about the Reserves, but the 19's had a 7 goal win.
