Get on it boys and girls.

Smith
Dippenaar

Thats one of the best opening partnerships in the world in ODI cricket. Got Smithy to score fast and Dips to help out if we are collapsing.

Gibbs @ 3 is a good option to have, will score fast and is a very good match winner.

Kallis @ 4 is very good, strikes @ 70 and would compliment others such as Gibbs and Smith, has also changed his approach and seems he is scoring faster these days.

de Villiers is the key, he stands up and we have it in one hand. Dashing batsman and could open aswell.

Boucher @ 6

Pollock,Hall and Boje can all bat and slog too.

Ntini and Nel to round it off.

Kemp as reserve.

Batting is good and bowling is very good IMO.

We will beat Australia :)

If they keep producing 400+ totals then yeah they have a good chance!

Btw i'm still scarred over you thinking i was a chick!

If Dippenar gets out early every time, maybe! But if you have to chase 300+ with Dippenar at one end you are as good as stuffed! He is like Crapitch! Minimally effective chasing!

The World Cup is in West Indies though.

Somewhere that Lee and Tait would love to bowl at.

South African bowling is not that great and Pollock will be a year older. Their batting on their day can be as explosive as any team's but Dippenaar can also hold things up somewhat. I'd like my boy van Der Wath to get a game.

South Africa will at least make the semi-finals. They are good enough to go the journey, but that remains to be seen.

If you are going to 'insult' South Africa's team, at least do it right.

1. Hayden isnt in the One Day team, don't tell me you've forgotten good old Simone?

Therefore,

Gilchrist >> Smith
Katich < Dippenaar
Ponting > Gibbs
Martyn << Kallis
Hussey >>>> Prince
Clarke > Kemp
Symonds >> Boucher

Pollock > Bracken
Ntini < Lee
Boje <<< Hogg
Nel >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mighty Mick

All in all should be a good contest, but Australia owns the Saffies in the most departments ...

Common sense says this would be so, however I've just got this feeling that the selectors are using recreational drugs.

What are their odds for the WC?

I just may have a little bit on them at the right price.

Maybe, but they did get a mighty fine pantsing the other night against the Paks.

Also there is the 'Choke' factor

They will meet at the Super8 stage, I don't know if that means they can or not..

That would be an awesome final if it happened!

As long as England dont win it - They've won enough. ;)

Actually because we play them in the group stage we don't meet them in the super 8 stage. We won't play SA again unless it is in the final. Well that's what Barry Richards said the other night during their ODI in any case. They're obsessed with us btw, they spent ages talking about our final against England.

We don't play the Saffers in Super 8. All the Super 8 teams would have played all the others ones before the final

wrong. In the semi 1st in Super 8 vs. 4th and 2nd vs 3rd which means we can play Saffers in Semi or Final.

They are a big chance if they keep up their current form. On current form Pollock is just behind Ponting as best one day player in the world. If he stays in this form SA could just about go all the way
