I was listening to it on Rage until I decided to listen to Man Utd get beaten... :(

Anyway, I loved how they threw in some of the interviews.

Great stuff.

I stayed home last night and watched the whole special for video purposes. Makes me wonder if anybody at least even half as good will ever grace a recording studio? I've drunk enough coffee to keep Nescafe in business for the next financial year! Great night though pity I only got it on the video till 3.30pm.

Just saw a live performance with George in it on Max. Not usually a big fan of 'megabands' but consider the following talent:

George Harrison
Roger McGuinn (The Byrds)
Bob Dylan
Neil Young
Eric Clapton
Tom Petty

Sort of Wilburies Mark II. Fantastic :)

Yep, I somehow managed an all nighter to watch this wonderful special, being quite young I hadn't heard everything and I really enjoyed some of John's and Ringo's stuff that I hadn't heard before.

How funny was the guy who thought Paul was dead or dying?? :D

Anyone catch the repeat of Paul on Parkinson earlier in the night??

I am dissapointed, I turned the television off at about 12:45 with the song being played 'Hey Bulldog'. A couple of songs after two of my favourite songs.... 'Strawberry Fields Forever' and 'Penny Lane' were being played and I didnt know about it until I read the playlist the next day :(

So I missed em...

And now reading on I see that 'Magical Mystery Tour' and 'I am the Walrus' were on a little later as well as 'Fool on the Hill'.

Very dissapointed

It was great, I succumbed to tiredness around 3am, during George's individual songs (i liked the video clips for George's stuff! :) ).

It was great seeing some of those videos, I loved the video for I am the Walrus, would have loved to have known what they were on when thought up some of their songs! ;)

I taped it all :D I have a long play video and a good 4 hour tape so i got it all. Loved some of George's filmclips, in particular "When we was Fab" and "Ive got my mind set on you" Top stuff.

The Beatles really were the greatest and nobody has or ever will come close.
