If Bryce Gibbs is allowed were will this leave Shawn Colbung jnr in terms of Father/Son selection.Would go to eagles by the way if allowed.
Shawn Colbung Snr-150 games between 1991-1999 East Perth FC

It depends on what they actually change. My understanding is that they are going to allow Adelaide to alter the dates so that it would be 15 years before their formation until 5 years after, whereas it is currently 20 years before. If ours were to change as well then we would be able to take Colbung but I think they are going to be specific and only alter Adelaides criteria. An extra 5 years of Father/Son would be good for us.

I doubt they would ever allow Colbung, who played all his games for East Perth whilst the Eagles were in the AFL, to qualify. If they did, then expect the Pies, Hawks, Tigers etc to want access to all of the Williamstown, Box Hill or Coburg players too.
1 year for Adelaide, to bring them in line with the other clubs (ie until year of first season in AFL) might happen. Anything else and forget.
You'll have to probably wait until Woosha/McKenna/Jako start to breed.

To be honest, he will probly still be available for our 2nd and 3rd round picks if we want him. This draft is so strong, a small Aboriginal player without electrifying pace or size isnt highly sort after.

I think if the changes occur it will only be for 2 Adelaide sides.

This draft is so strong, a small Aboriginal player without electrifying pace or size isnt highly sort after. If he doesn't have electrifying pace or size what is attractive about him ? Does he have that "ball magnet" ability that Priddis is supposed to have (I only say supposed to because I haven't seen him play othet than a short stint in the Pre season) ?
