Two games last night - is it worth pointing out that Tarrant's goals per game average is less than 2?

Aggressive fella - looks like (if you include Harris) we'll have some intimidating bookends this year

If he can string three to four games together. He will create big problems for oppositions. I was impressed with is contribution last night. He created exactly what the doggies require, an aerial contest in the forward line.

Im on.

It appears that he has put some solid effort in pre-seaosn in getting his fitness right.
I saw him chase Deledio last night- didn't look like catching him, but he chased and chased. coach would've been pleased with that.
I don't expect him to dominate, but if he gives this sort of effort week in week out he will have helped our cause greatly, and when the run run run ain't working his ability to contest will hopefully allow Eade the option to play a more structured forward game.

Exactly YHF. It is upto our KP forwards to draw out the opposition big men or to create a contest so that we can crumb the loose ball.

Our strength lies in our ability to move the ball at speed and creating gaps in the forward line. However the beauty of having a Morgan in the fwd line or at least someone who can make a contest is that it creates unpredictability as the opposition defence will need to keep a close check on all our forwards not just our fast leading smaller guys.

I recall Rodney Eade mentioned on the Doggies website that Morgan has not got his body right in the past and it was up to him to get his body right in 2006.

The doggies need a few tall guys that can stand up. Morgan has most boxes ticked to be a handy type. Good teams always have a hard nut that makes other teams think twice. It aint politically correct, the mums dont like it, but its the truth. (Swans: B. Hall, Port B Pickett, Lions the Scotts plus others, Essendon D Wallis)

I havent seen him do anything dirty but he does have a mini Harris like presence.

The doubt in my mind is staying injury free. Lets hope he has put the work in this year.

Don't like bandwagons, people hop off too quickly, but I've been an admirer of his for a long time. The boy has talents we haven't glimpsed yet a few more games in a row and he will make his presence felt by a lot more than intimidation, the only question is the body.

I'm on - how many goals did he assist by making a contest? Like his mean attitude too.

Bump!

No goals this week but his intensity and aggression created a few. Should have been paid a nice pack mark at one point too!

Go Morgs/Morgo/The Mongoose/Widow Maker!

How many people jumped off this week?

Why?? He made contests, chased hard and gave us an option. Sure he didn't get many possessions (if any) but he still contributed to our win.
