Try being a fan from a club other than Collingwood and having tool Collingwood fans like Eddie and that Christian d*ckhead commentating games and being completely bias. It's hard not to punch the TV.
you could always go back to your original hobby of punching a ring

RoosterLad
3 Apr 2006, 22:20
BALLLLLLLL!!!!!
********er commentators saying he was 'stiff'
the only thing stiff is the object in their pants when discussing collingwood
GREAT tackle, Buckley too arrogant then, took too long
great kick Perrie he has done well tonight

3 Apr 2006, 22:20
Goal Perrie!
84-77.
Good umpiring. Buckley had time to dispose and didn't.

Looks like the Pies are gunna struggle now.
Hope Clemmos not gunna be the new Bucks with those tissue paper hamstrings...!!

haha. free kicks currently 16-7 in favour of collingwood. yep, youre getting a real tough run.
3AW commentators are giving it to Guy Richards. Basically saying the game is there to be won and he's getting pushed off the ball with too much ease, resulted in a couple of goals.
Haven't seen the last quarter myself, but can anyone comment on it?

yeh, a lot of the old champs are getting soft injuries now (clement, roo, bucks, hird). its unfortunate. by the way - love the office ;)

Hahahaha 50 metre penalty.
Roo has 6!!!
As we hear little murmurs from the Collingwood fans/commentators.
97-78.
ICanDressMyself
3 Apr 2006, 22:36
99-77. Surely can't lose from here Crows!
Not really. Roo has been the difference and he is an All Australian quality player so it makes it a bit more bearable.
Some positive signs to take away.

Sounds like weve got nobody to go with Riccuito....
How has Buckley played...and Josh Fraser. Surely he has to start living up to his reputation shortly....he's been around forever and never really delivered the goods on a consistent basis.
Whats the crowd like.....Monday night game and all??

Richards been getting killed in Ruck. Dont know why MM hasn't pushed either Rocca or Fraser in there.

THey didnt want to admit that was a free to Shirley
Goal
0.0 is Collingwood's score for the last term
and the crowd is going hoooooooome
ICanDressMyself
3 Apr 2006, 22:39
105-77! Shirley kicks a goal and surely that will do it now!
As the commentators go quiet. Stick that in ya pipe and smoke it.

Nope hes kicked it!!
Its all over now boys
Scoreline flattering to the Crows, but they have it won.
Ricciuto the difference.
Biglands kicks another.
111-77. Collingwood haven't troubled the scorers this quarter.

3 Apr 2006, 22:40
Biglands goals, Collingwood havem't scored this quarter.
111-77. 33 point lead.

Well done Adelaide Crows, good win.
We lost, but we still have some positives, good to see the kids stand up well. Seniors need their arse kicked

3 Apr 2006, 22:42
Rocca has had a shocker tonight.
Clement injured and Tarrent comes off with a sprained ankle.
No injury worries for the Crows as yet I believe.
Biglands kicks another.
111-77. Collingwood haven't troubled the scorers this quarter.
The perfect person to speak to. How did Essendon overcome their famous last quarter fade outs?
jlc
Agreed, great debut from Thomas, some promising signs despite Collingwood going on autopilot in the last minutes.
ICDM: Get your hand off it, mate, the game is won, who the hell cares whether you got another goal or not?

God mate, listen to ********ing 5AA if you want bias towards your own team.
BTW I'm not a Pies fan but that leap from Davis was awesome, but due credit was given to Johncock's awesome take at the last second
Never send a pie to do a man's job.
Overall disappointing last quarter but the first 3 quarters give us something to build on.
Interesting to note to stop the run on we had in 3rd term the Crows bored us to death by chipping the ball around. Maybe other teams will adopt this tactic.
So we have 21 further rounds to bridge a 5 or 6 goal gap against the best team in the AFL. Definately not impossible. Just need to maintain the intensity.

Collingwood were disgraceful in the last term. Not even a behind.
Overall, Roo you are a legend. Edwards likewise.
Exciting knowing we have Welsh, Bock, Torney and Skippy still waiting to come back in.
Didn't see much of Vince tonight but he debuted so that's good enough for me.
Special mention to Dale Thomas, looks the goods that guy. Loads of confidence - taking on McLeod showed that! He would be impressed with his debut as many Pie fans would be. I guess that's something great to take out of the night.
Crows 34 point victors. Well done lads.

Yeah I agree they are very bias and I'm not a fan of them.
This is national television though I think they'd better tone it down a bit and not make it so obvious as to who they are supporting.
I love listening to 5AA for a good laugh. There bias and lack of opposition knowledge is quite funny (except when collingwood is the opposition)
jlc
Yeah I agree they are very biasBiased. Biased for ****sake. Bias is a noun.
And yes, ridiculously biased.

Collingwood ran out of legs, they'll get belted next week.
No Clement, Cloke looked injured & many more, worrying times.

Is it me, or was the end Adelaide was kicking to in the 2nd and 4th, the major Goal scoring end?
Side note: 7/8 for me...damn Port Power :(

Awesome stuff.
It's always good to win away, the commentators are nibblers and support collingwood all game. They have probably got the rope out by this stage.

Yeh, Yeh lets all bag Collingwood!!! FFS, we had the premiers on the ropes for three quarters when Rocca, Tarrant and Travis Cloke were playing shockers. If they worked their way into the game, it would have been a very interesting result in the end.
If you think we have problems, look at Richmond. We played a far superior side last night and lost by under six goals, without the assistance of the big forwards, mind you. Richmond lost by over 100 points to a worse team.
Look at other teams. We are not the only team who lost, 7 other clubs did too. It's only Round 1, lets see how Collingwood are travelling come Round 6.

Didn't know Crows were the premiers.
I know Richmond are a terrible side but I don't think there is much difference between the 2 sides. As you said it's only round one so why are you writing off Richmond already?
