View Full Version : Blame the Players
The players are to blame for the weekends debacle not the Coach, they are the dumb 'rses who cant follow instructions. For those many of you who repeatedly blame the Coach and call for his removal take off the blinkers and if you think his removal will solve the problem think again.
The players definitely deserve a share of the blame, especially if they were not following the instructions of the coaching staff. But at AFL level the coach has the ability to hire and fire the players. After a coach has spent 4 years at a club, if his starting line up is still a bunch of donkeys who can't follow instructions, then the blame for that stops with the coach.

That says it all, basicly they all need to pull together. One game out of 22 is not a big deal in the large picture, but I expect to see some players busting bodies this weekend.
A number of "senior" players should be put on notice, extract the digit or back to Subi and the Gummies. CC is already on notice by the media (rightly or wrongly).
Tim is dead right.
These "blame the player" statements were also used last year after poor game - I don't think they are anything more than a fairly transparent attempt to ease media pressure on CC.
Does anyone see it as interesting that it was Macca who fronted the media on Monday ?.
Where were the "leaders" of the club ?, or is it just that they send Macca out of the trench's as he has done it regularly before ?.

Yeah I found this a bit weird too, we have a 10 man leadership group now but they get Macca to face the media?

Blame the hierachy who are too pussy footed to start sacking blokes.
Why would you want to bother putting in an effort if you're getting paid mega bucks with no accountability or fear of being dropped?
You can't just blame a specific group or person at Fremantle it is a club and consists of so many different parts and what CC and the crew need to relise teams win games when they work together and atm with so much media pressure and with supporters speculation makes it harder for FFC to get the whole show under control so just have some faith its only round 2 of 22
