Okay, to reinvigorate the trivia for OS :)
Which three Bulldog players made their debut against the Swans in Round 2, 1990?
An easy one, methinks.

Leon Cameron? I know he's not three players.

I always thought Cameron and Grant played round 1 but I doubt we would have had 5 debutants in two weeks.
Koly might be one. I'm sure Libba played a game in 88 so it couldn't be him.
Michael Mansfield?

I'm sure that Grant and Cameron debuted a week apart.
Billy played his first game at Carrara in '87, Libba also played in the '80s.
Was Danny Del Re one of them? Maybe Zino Tzatzaris?

Yes, LY. Leon was one of them, racking up something like 33 possessions. Granty debuted in the opening round vs St. Kilda, a game forever etched...
Zino debuted in '84. Not Mansfield or Delre.

Richard Cousins? Darren Davies? Nigel Kellett?

Richard Cousins? Darren Davies? Nigel Kellett?
Cousins, Davies and Kolyniuk all debuted in late 80s. Kellett I think is more in the ballpark, but it wasn't him.

I suck, I wish I had my AFL book with every draft.
One last group of guesses- Matthew Hogg? (Pretty sure he played in 80's) Stuart Wigney? Did Ian Rickman sneak in a game with us that season? Ben Sexton? Jon Ballantyne? Also pretty sure last 2 started later.

:D :D :D
Well Rocco, the debuts of that lot span 12 seasons!! And not one of them played their first game vs Swans in Round 2, 1990, although Wigney would be very close.

12 seasons? Who was earliest and latest? Geez that's shocking.
I never know when to give up so take this-
Troy Moloney, Darren Baxter (late 80's wasn't he?)...ah I really give up.
keenan reynolds. leon cameron,??

Rickman debuted in '84, the same year as Darren Baxter (sorry). And Sexton debuted in '95.
Not Troy Moloney I'm afraid. Time for clues?

Not John or Shannon. The player in question played quite a few games over approximately six seasons, but is long gone.

Great work AMJ. Leon, Keenan and Barry made their debuts on the day that we chalked up our first ever win the the SCG.

From memory, he certainly did play in that game, but can't recall whether he also played round one. Not a league debutant, but certainly a Footscray debutant - so you might just have me on a technicality. :D

I just love the fact that you've got the replay of Round 1, 1990 at your fingertips!!
And yes AMJ, time does fly. Unlike Barry Standfield, who would have been only an even money bet to beat old Banana Legs Hopkins in a Dandy Dollar Dash.

I think Mark Williams was there prior 1990. I seem to remember him in photos of the fight back rally.

No problem Coondog 17, glad to be able to answer your question.
Standfield played RD 1 v Stkilda in 1990, Wheeler put him on Lockett for a while. His debut was not v Swans.
