There's usually a supporters function after the game - last time I met up with Brian Harris, who was very amused about the BHAS. Unfortunately Eade somehow managed to avoid a discussion with me about my odd ideas for new tactics - a fate which befell Rohde the year beofre.

Who's going?
Ticks already booked (for third year in a row) to see us win at last.
Great weekend, she goes shopping most of Sat, then go to game and catch up with DR afterwards for a few jars.
The after function is really good all the players come and you can usually chat with some of your favourites. I talked to Skip last year and while hurt by the loss was thrilled to be playing AFL games. DR talked to Big Brian who was accused by Eade of being asleep during the early part of the game when he was on O'Laughlin.

This will be my third or forth trip up (i can't remember). I've seen us win twice and seen Monty take a hanger. Rather odd being the only one celebrating a mark... Libba also managed to do his knee...

Last time up i went to the game in a very very hung over state... Was not good... but we won, and i flew out after game, which wasn't too smart.

It was as though he just hung on the Swans players shoulders for an eternity. Great mark.

He took some crackers that year.

Along a similar line to this thread --- I will be in Sydney this weekend (Easter) and I would expect the Essendon match to be televised on Foxtel. I am aware there is a Sydney supporters group - do they tend to gather to watch matches in numbers? If so where? Or at worst any watering holes on the northside (pennat Hiless - Horsnby, Parramatta) that would have the Foxtel coverage?

Dont want miss humbling Sheedy's mob.

I can recommend the Alexandria Hotel for a bit of atmosphere etc but don't know of anywhere in those areas.

Me.

And we'd better bloody win, I'm sick of going up there year after year being surrounded those theatre-going nuffies they have as their supporters watching us lose.

Do you know they sell popcorn inside the SCG? Popcorn! FFS!
