What a great night!! Fear Factory blew Thebby away!!!

The night started with Embodiment 12:14 getthing things going with their brand of hardcore. They only played 5 or so songs but they definatly sounded fantastic.
After a 15 minute break Superheist came on and surprisingly were very very good...especially with their new singer. Their actually seems to be a bit of stage presence now whereas with the other clown there was none. The one time ive heard their cd i find to be boring and generic but the songs do come alive in concert. They played for a good 40 minutes or so and went thru about 10+ songs.

Then after a 25 or so minute wait.....Fear Factory appeared on stage. I had a prime position 2nd 'row' of people from the front right in front of Dino. Thats when he started the riff for What Will Become and teh crowd went nuts. THey played almost the best possible set you could ask for. If they played Body Hammer the night would of been complete. THey played songs from all 4 records. The moshpit was crazy.....utterly crazy. Roughest moshpit ive ever been in. Doesnt help when some clown with steel cap boots on goes crowd surfing and full on kicks me in the back of the head. A seriously amazing concert from the heavy moshing to Shock to the whole crowd seeing along to Invisible Wounds....one of the greatest concerts ive been to!

Set List:
What Will Become
Flashpoint
Self Bias Resistor
Demanufacture
Descent
Digimortal
Damaged
Linchpin
Ressurection
Invisible Wounds
Shock
Noone
Edgecrusher
Martyr
Scapegoat
Replica
(no encore)

Good to hear you had a great time, I am now REALLY disappointed I will not be able to see them seeing as I am busy already dammit!!!

Great stuff Macca, the Melbourne concert was awesome too. The set list was exactly the same if i remember correctly.

My main complaints would be the beer price($4.50 a can), No Encore and they didn't play one of my fave tracks Securitron.

Talk to you more on msn when we're both online next.
