Where are u getting your facts frm golden hawk, all i know is that the injury has lasted since round 15 last year. seems like a modern footballers injury, similar to that of o.p. can anyone shed light on this thread?

You should never doubt the great man GOALden Hawk when he fires off some info.

Good question as well Sezzy.

This may be old news now, but i heard that Josh had an injury riddled (pardon the pun) pre-season, breaking a bone in his hand, and then with the knee injury mentioned above. The Knights have asked him to play 3 lead up games with his school team to prime himself for the season, however, i think someone as valuable as josh is to big of a loss for the knights. Late last year he was in ripping form, doing very well in the finals, and i think he even cracked into the metro squad. I rate him very highly, and having seen him a few weeks ago he is looking bigger and fitter than ever.
Do you think this will effect his chance of making the metro squad this year?
When do you think he will be back in the team for the knights? personally i hope its sooner rather than later.

Dunno Browny. Would be interesting to know though. I assume he will have school footy commitments regardless of injury situation which could mean its a while til he plays for the Knights?

And I suppose we'll find out in a week or two how Vic Metro treat injured players and to what degree prior year form counts in the initial squad selection.

Interesting to see he made the squad after no TAC games so far this year. Supposably he had a very good trial game, didnt see it first hand though. Did anyone? How did he go? Thoughts on if he'll make the cut/team?

Make...easily. He will have to hold the Metro backline together IMHO. Played fairly solidly last Saturday although obviously looked short of a run at times later in the game.

Good point Sezzy. I agree with you about how he played last week, but at the same time taking the opponent he had last week into account, its fair to say Riddle will have bigger challenges to come.

How Dickson and co must be wishing he was just a little bit taller.
