I think it would be the right decision to keep Browny in Melbourne for next week....at this point in his comeback his stamina is restricting him to not being able to apply any second efforts to conserve his energy and get through a game....He's probably as sore as ...rest him this match in a toughie against the eagles and bring him back for more winnable games against Lions and Blues:thumbsu:

I was thinking the exact same thing last night.

West Australian grounds are traditionally harder than the East coast supposedly, so give him a rest against WCE and tell him to cardio/stamina train or something instead.

Then bring him back for the Lions.

Yep, definately correct there. Dont run him in to the ground. That being said, im sure Browny would dispute the idea. He'd be itching to kick his first goal of the year. Although we should TRY to beat the eagles, i think we're a shot, seriously.

You could see it written all over him on Friday night just how frustrated he is becoming in himself that he is unable to perform at his usual lofty standards .

And clearly still restricted in what he can do .

Nothing to be gained in sending him over there next week . Send him off to Daylesford for the weekend with his Mrs ... bit of wining , dining sixty nineing .... tell him "see you back here after easter Browny , put one away for us :thumbsu: "

Send one of our young WA boys over there for thier first game in front of thier friends and family ;)

maybe we could take humm there;)Thinking more along the lines of JON

Don`t see them elevating a rookie just yet . Wait unil one of them really earns it .

I would go to all our rookies and say ..." righto boys , with Thursty going down one of you guys has got a real chance to get a crack at the bigtime in about 3-4 weeks , which one of you wants it the most and is going to stick his hand up ? ... Now get out there and show us what you have got "

not as silly as it sounds...if Humm has any fortitude he will capitalise on a rare opportunity to gain a spot on the list and have a day out for Coburg today....I liked the look of him in the NAB cup game...and offers more than some of his WA mates in the side right now!

Leave it a few weeks and see who sticks thier hand up . Would much rather see it given as reward to someone who has worked thier butt off and has earned it .... as opposed to falling in someones lap lottery style

Humm may very well end up being the one but we`ll see . I`ll be watching White

White is already on the senior list mate ;)

But I certainly agree with your way of thinking. Make sure some-one earns the position.

Also to replace some-one in the side straight away would/ could seem harsh on Thirsfield. As in he may think TW was waiting for a long term injury to promote Humm asap.

Really liked him against the Dogs off a half back flank.

We waste him there. TW put him there only so he could rack up early possessions to get some confidence, we'll never see him there again :thumbsu:
