Thought it would be good to start a thread about the KDFL U/18s and i hope there are many people in the comp who use big footy.
Any results from todays games in KDFL U/18s.
I know Violet Town defeated Ardmona by about five goals.
any other info?

does anyone know if rushworth still gonna continue its policy of playing its younger guns in seniors? if not, they could go close this year

littlefooty, yes, Rushworth will continue to play our gun juniors in the seniors as long as they are willing to play, are enjoying it and are developing their footy. At this stage Tom Clarke, Shane Lynch, Andrew Clarke and Scott Lambden will all be permanent fixtures in the senior side while James "jungle" Martin has decided to have a crack at GV senior footy with Kyabram. I still think the thirds will go alright.

How is the Merrigum side looking this year? werent too flash on the weekend against lancaster or maybe the wombats are just looking the goods.

would it fair to say avenel won last year because of its bottom age players, seeing as avenel appear to be fairly strong again this year in thirds and nagambie ones, who beat avenel ones, have alot more of last years thirds playing ones than avenel?

any one care to have a stab at league best n fairest? i'd go scotty kanters from avenel or sandy carpenter from yea. not the best players in the league, but likely to play the whole season in 3rds in sides that should win a most few games. russel sheriff should go alrite as well.

its ashame the kd is a :D:D:D:Dhouse league...GO THE GV... if anyone should win its will be either Dukey Jenkins is a gun from nagambie and kills it week after week(when he isnt killin it in the seniors with hutton and muir) and young Daniel Belsten from yea seems fairly promising, he came and had a look in at The Lions Den and seemed okay but i rekon yea footy club is a bit closer to home for him. also tommy stevens from avenal ( winner of B.O.G in last yrs granny) will give it a good run. if hutton, tyrone muir and some others boys were playing thirds with naggaz id say they would kill the thirds comp.. cheerio CARN SEYMOUR LIONS...

Mate, u're rite. compared to the GV the KDL is a http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/images/icons/icon10.gifhttp://www.bigfooty.com/forum/images/icons/icon10.gifhttp://www.bigfooty.com/forum/images/icons/icon10.gifhttp://www.bigfooty.com/forum/images/icons/icon10.gifhouse league. but seymour suckit up something chronic in the GV,always have always will, which is why they havent ever won a thirds flag in the GV. it's one thing to be in a good league, but actually do something is another. Nagambie is ALONG way behind avenel at this stage. tyrone didnt get a kick in the granny last year, hutton kicked 2 (from free kicks) playing on emmett o'connor, who didnt play the last time the sides met. nagambie also had about 3 or 4 permit players from the GV playin in that match. guys like scotty k, dj saunders, jamie marsh, freddy marke, stevo, chee and the 3 o'connor boys will make avenel hard to beat. neither clubs seniors will make finals so i guess time will tell when all the boys who are eligible to play do. but yeh, dukey n stevo, will be up there in league b n f, maybe abuse the ump a bit more than they shud tho.

all i'm saying corks is; it would only take a person with an IQ of 3 to realise that post was from last year, it's FUNNY.

suppose IQ of 3 is bit much to ask from you, but we can work on that. you probably can't even read what i'm writing.

good luck mate.:)

Harry Potter has been seen flying around the kdl grounds this year, weaving his magic and darting thru traffic.
The little bloke can play a bit.
