Hi all

Pete Best was interviewed on Derek Guille's show on 774ABC this arvo. I only caught the end bit of it, but those Beatles fans who are keen, I think the interview will be transcribed and posted on the ABC website.

Thanks for posting that Shinners. :) Sad I missed it. :( I saw Pete Best years and years ago on Oprah, and it was heaps interesting. :)

Would be interesting to hear how he feels about George, not sure if there close or if Best was close with any of the Beatles after what happened.

jod, as far as I recall, from the Oprah interview I saw, Best said he tried to suicide shortly after being cut from the Beatles, and I have read over the years that he is not particularly close with Paul McCartney but that may just be speculation, hard to believe everything you read. I am pretty sure he wasnt buddies with them, but yeah, I think he had a lot of time for George. :)
