Rage Agaisnt The Machine - musical pioneers or overhyped political music makers?
Personally, I love/ed RATM, subject to what happens when Chris Cornell gets his hands on the mic.
They were very political, but in my opinion very good. I'm listening to Killing In The Name now, and I am fired up. Wonderful stuff to go nuts to. So after several great albums, a political belief which defies the western world, and a break up, how does RATM sit with you?
Also, how do you think will happen with the band with Cornell leading it?
I think they should change the name. RATM is dead, as Cornell is no De LaRocha. Very different styles, and they won't live up to the past greatness of RATM.
Also, has anybody seen their live DVD, The Battle of Mexico City? I haven't, I just wanna see what it's like.
I love RATM, now it's your turn...
