If you're at home, tune into JJJ. George Harrison special on. Opening song is 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'. Sensational.

In Melbourne, it will be around 107 on the FM dial.

Enjoy. :)

They dug deep, Jacs. Solo stuff, Beatles stuff, they played interviews, interviewed fans, editors of fanzines, and it was basically a request show.

Thanks Hitter. :) It's just a shame that all this fuss is being made of George's amazing solo stuff and career now that he's dead. :( A BIT LATE  but hey it's still good to let the people hear it.

Interviewed fans......local or overseas fans?

it would usually be local fans..
although, u can pick tripleJ up on the internet.. international fans may be listening and might call in... doubt that tho...

the J files are my favourite show on triple J...

even if i'm not a fan of the particular band/singer they profile on the J files for that particular week's show... i still find myself listening, as they delve deep on the history of an artist, and fans call in with their views, faves etc etc... top show !!

Oh cool. I thought it might be like pre-recorded fan interviews. I know a few chicks in England who would have been good to talk to about George. :)
