Article below from Bomber website. Probably lucky to get just one week and not two. With Laycock still out they will either have to take a risk with Cartledge or take a risk with Bradley and Ryder in the ruck. Either way not good, but probably not as bad as if we were to play against WCE (Cox) or Haw (Everitt) etc....
Hille back for Anzac Day clash
Monday, 10 April 2006
Essendon ruckman David Hille has been suspended for one match after being found guilty of striking by the match review panel today. Hille will miss this weekend’s match of the round against the Western Bulldogs but will return for the Anzac Day clash with Collingwood the following week.
Hille was reported for striking Mitchell Clark of Brisbane in the final quarter of last Saturday’s match against Brisbane. The review panel deemed Hille’s actions as reckless, low impact, in play and high.
The offence constituted a base points tally of 125. Hille had residual points of 43.75 points and another 12.5 to add on having been suspended in the past three years giving him a total of 181.25 points that equated a one-match ban. Hille will plead guilty to the charge.
