Give me the Budgie at $9's as well.
He's still dirty for getting dropped several years back when Codger Connell bought Chris Keating into the team underdone because he was a Club stalwart.
Budgie is very very keen to be sticking it up a lot of folks who remained silent on the ill fated day.

Even if the suspension was a bit hefty in the first place, that is a fair reduction on the original sentence!

ifooty, do yourself a favour and read through my previous posts to that imbecile. He is as much use on this forum as a co ck flavoured lollypop, and does nothing but make distant observations about our competition and the players that play in it.

He just tries to pump up the Amatuers, for me I love the DVFL but have no problem with the Amatuers it's there for a particular person who like the other leagues loves playing park footy but which has a different game style and non atmosphere at games, and the old schoolboys who love to mouth off behind the goals and poo their pants when they get challenged

Pretty common knowledge that he's still harbouring the desire to show some people that he deserves it. I think he'll play well, win or lose, but if the Bulls get up I'd think that Howse and Mitchell will be the front runners - Moose would be the smoky, just depends which end of the paddock he lines up.

Wouldnt suprise me HSS, he loves Budgie and we all know that. He is a Collingwood supporter as well.

I think you know the result of the Euroa 2's. Got smashed by 54pts. i was very quiet and will be doing the same at grand final this week as we play on Sunday. I think this will be the 1st grand final since 1997 that I havent had beer while watching. If you want to talk gvfl though, there is a thread for it.

Another point is the fact that Dvalley have a blockbuster game on the weekend with no AFL in Melbourne and no Melbourne teams playing you would think they might try and promote it a little.Could possibly get 8 to 10 Thousand if they tried.

Put your money on the bergs and Dean or trew for BOG.

On to my predictions. Heidelberg go in unchanged and after last week’s demolition job on Mont and with their best side in, excluding big Mick, you would expect Heid to go one step further than last year. Bergs by 23pts with Lofty Nolan to take out the Norm Smith.

Both quiet, Caddy was well held by Taylor from Hoppers. Took one sensational pack mark, came from four deep. Got sent off, along with his opponent from an over enthusiastic emergency umpire.

Cooper's disposal was terrible and turned it over time and time again. Played loose in defence but wasn't getting anywhere near the right spots.
Kicked an important goal which really kick started the Colts charge half way through the second. Solid second half.

Loving your DV banter lately shoe... Lost interest in Ammo?

Sabby C to kick 6 and be BOG - Mont by 11 pionts.

Funny story about Sabby C - at half time of 2's when we lost to the Bulls he went up to the umpire and said:

"Mate I don't mean to sound like a weak c***t, but I am getting held and grabbed every time I go for the footy"

Umpire replied: "yeah you are right"

Ha Ha......need I ask who the attention was from?
Half decent weather and I see Sab and Celotti having a good day. No doubt the wind will be blowing a gale at 'Ping - Sab half a sniff to kick 6 in half a game. Hunt and Hamer could do the same for the Bulls though. The two's will be a good game of footy.

Well held would have to agree. Lead well and got to all the right spots but delivery to Saul was nothing short of terrible. As a leading forward you rely on the supply from the midfield. He did some good hard stuff as he always does. Definately wasn't a passenger on the day just didn't dominate like he had in every other game for the Colts since his arrival.

Had a great finals series nonetheless.

Yeah would have to agree. Umpiring was a disgrace.
If Taylor had a running race with a snail the snail would be odds on favourite to win. As slow as a wet week.

I don't know why blokes like him even play footy. The way he plays can't be enjoyable for him at all. All he does is hold on and make his sole objective his opponent. :thumbsd: Alma.

Congratulations Heidelberg.

Speaking to a bloke from lalor, apparently two sides having to come up in macloed and greensborough, and lalor representative has sed that lalor would smash macloed by at least 15 goals.. would hate to see what would happen when macloed come up against the powerhouses of div 1.

Vinnie coach of the year???.The award was decided a week too early. The special written evaluation you did on our players played a big part in our win!:( :( :( :( :( :(
What happened there Berger? Did Heidelberg get their hands on said opposition player evaluation?

As i said ,pretty good judge of a team.I said the previous one two days before now this is six days before. To Bundoora , it is going to be the start of a nightmare but lucky most of you sleep with the light on.You already no the result in your heads ,it has been bugging you since you got in the GF.Can we go through the season undefeated, what if we loose the last game of the year.I feel sorry for you .Do the words 1990 ring a bell.Bundoora beat HFC 3 times during the year and oh my !!!! They lost the GF to HFC.You only just won last week and you played at your best.As I said the Bergers are like a road train at the moment !!!!!! Let your minds rest because it wont go away.It is like cancer and unfortunately there is no cure.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to everyone I didnt think i would be that far of the mark. Please!!!!! What a game and what a win.Shame on you gloury for sh*ting yourself backing into the Bergers forward line for a mark.To all Bundoora good effort. You must be kicking yourselves that you just cant beat Heidelberg In GF 1990,2004,2006.Speaking for the team we are all very pi**ed .The celebrations were The biggest i have seen down there to the point that every one who runs the club was to pi**ed to lock up hence the Gauntlet was run hence some of the drunkest happiest wildest scenes developed.I can say there was plenty of love in the air. There must have been something in the Drinks!!Cant say the same for Bundoora when the police shut them down at Midnight.I guess it was a bad day all round.Luckily you built yourselves a Grandstand so all you supporters could see you choke.F**king very funny that.Lesson learnt by Bundoora to day.Stop trying to get into Grand Finals, you are only mentally hurting yourselves .Eleven appearences 9 losses and 2 wins 9/11 spooky hey. Finally thank God you got yourselves a jumping castle for the kids on the sunday. What a shame it pi**ed rain all day.just a bad weekend.Last but not least to bundoora supporters that took our bets thankyou ,we decided to buy another ten barrels .sorry for being so arrogant but i am absolutely Blind and need some sleep so I can get up Monday and do it all again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ps.Vinnie bite me.You shouldnt have blamed all you big blokes after the game.It starts at the top which is the coach.Stick to tennis coaching!

see you all at Ryhs Jones ,s pub for a quiet mad Monday.Not.

we got hold of Bundooras dosier of all heidelbergs players
Eg. Russel Lee .fast runner but soft can be easily beaten one on one hates physical pressure .weak so and so on.we decided to help bundoora so underneath every players assesment we wrote and 2006 Premeirship player and have currently faxed it to them over a Hundred times during the Night.Probably the funniest thing i have ever seen!!!!!!!

the boys were calling themselves last night the weakest ,softest ,slowest, heartless 2006 Premiership Players.F**king funny when everyone was drinking out of the Premiership cup.

Sorry Rus I know its not true just an example! You are a F**king Gun .Oh and sorry a 2006 Premeirship player.

You're a freak! I hope for your sake you had some money on that, would have cleaned up if you did.

Yeah tipping the winner, margin and the medallist was just a treat for you all :)

Heidelberg deserved to win, no doubt about it. Congratulations to the players and supporters. For all that is said about them, you have to admire the way they approached that game on saturday. The less said about Bundoora the better, but 2 and 9 from 11 appearances says it all anyway.

Does a record like that constitute the BULLIWOBBLES??????

Just asking ;)

Bundoora, Loosely translated in German means CHOKE.

Stick to serve, volley tactics you loud mouthed germ. That report you wrote was gold, you just showed your lack of football knowledge. Bringing in 2 old slow blokes onto the ground at Epping.
Grossman you, big cat. Pulled out of some red hot contests on the biggest stage of the year. Same with Gloury, you were a disgrace. No wonder Muprh gave you such a spray. Everyone knew you blokes were mentally fragile after that. Massive night Saturday, as packed as the Den have ever been. Left at 3 and the joint was still pumping. Lot of the boys played right through although a few looked a little worse for wear. See exhibit a)Dlae Nolan aka The Loftomoter case b) Goof thought he was a humming bird by about 6 o'clock last nite, not sure what he was drinking c) Chad "Tommy Lee" Walker. Much better then 2004 when you win it as the under dog.
To all the arrogant Bundoora supporters, thanks for your cash and building the grandstand so you had a better view of your rabble.

Giveyathemail is hence forth know as Givemeyourmoney. GOLD.

Congratulations Heidelberg.

To Dwight, Brucey, Muttley and the rest of the Tiger clan.... enjoy

Hope you stick around and try and defend the title 2007...

Nice predictions GYTM :thumbsu: The J&B book didn't take too much of a battering. Although I didn't bump into Hot Shoe, so he saved himself $50

It's been a great season talking sh1t with everyone... after this weekend my full concentration will be going to the form guide and some of the fine fillies at Caulfield and Flemington. But until then....

Go Swans!

I think Robbie Maiorana cost the bulls the game in the 3rd qtr. Gloury kicked a goal, then Howse was awarded a free kick in the goal square, only for Robbie to get it reversed. the bergers get down to Hall who converts.

I thought the game was over at quarter time with Bundoora leading kicking into the win. To Heidelbergs credit the just hung in there and then put the foot down in the last quarter to win. Thought Webbers game was very good along with Nolans last half. Stinga was very quiet all day, but stood up and gained plenty of touches in the last quarter. Paul Harrison was a disgarce at Full forward for Bundoora. How is he getting a game.

What about Adrian Bakers accepctance speech for the goal kicking. Very funny and was very blind the boy. He is call of you dont have to big to be good was a classic as he stumbled off the podium.

I have spoken to a few blokes this morning that are just rapt that Bundoora lost, couldnt care less who won. I tend to lean a bit towards that, however I am rapt for Stinga who had his heart set on success in 2006, and congratulate him and his team for a stellar win.

I thought that page that Bundoora put in Saturdays record was a nice touch as well... NOT.

Story doing the rounds at the GF was that the Sherriff was forced to hand his badge in and is being investigated by the OPI. Must surely be time for the rumour mill to start up, especially in regards to player movements for next season.

Anything out there people?

I have got a whisper...

Everyone knows about the DVFL wanting to bring up 2 sides into Divvy 1 IF Heidelberg decide to go. The men behind this push are Roy Ward and Peter Floyd.

Recent developments have come to light that Macleod DO NOT want to come up to Division 1 for the following reasons, and will refuse to go up if approached.

* They dont want to get pumped every week.
* They will not retain players
* They dont have the finances to fund a move into Division 1.
* Cant afford to pay new recruits to make them competetive.

Any additional info on this would be appreciated.

Bout time they got rid of him. Looked like he'd just been pulled off the streets of Footscray and it is no surprise if he was pocketing half the takings to feed his habit

Must be very recent developments.

Speaking to a Macleod official recently and he seemed to be asking if our Club would be interested in pushing for them to move to Division 1 if Heidelberg left the valley and if they lost they're GF against Greensborough.

After GF loss it was reported that they had signed their maximum no. of players (15) for next year so they couldn't really go anywhere.

Also rumored that they have $80K in the bank for thier move to Div. 1.
