Yep the rumour has been brought up a few weeks back. I'd be angry if he moved as he's got a brilliant record playing for Victoria. I can see why WA are after him though but don't think they should bring in Lewis to stunt the development of Magoffin

Magoffin would still get a game. The problem will be some young guy like Tim McDonald would miss out on a contract

Be very bad move for both WA and Lewis. The only bowler under threat would be Edmondson but he adds pace which the other bowlers lack.

Yeh, you can be Victorian and play a test for Australia, but you cant play a test for Victoria, you can play a first class match though.

Young guy (Tim McDonald)?? Well younger than Lewis but harderly what I would call young. And if Lewis went over, then either Magoffin or Edmondson would miss out on a spot in the starting line up. Rumour has it that Shaun Ervine is again going to get a contract for WA, even though he hasn't played a game for the warriors in the last 2 years. Thats bad luck for Bandy and Gillies!
