You know thats not neccessarily true.People love your fast style of play. I think they are struggling with the way some of your supporters are carrying on though.

I still like the Doggies, keep winning though and the loves gone;) but seriously you'd prefer everyone to hate you as it means they feel threatened and think of you as a serious premiership challenger, the Hawks should be getting a lot of love ATM.

- Bulldogs aren't my 'second' favorite team
- I hate the Bulldog's unaccountable style of play
- You've beaten two teams who won't play September.
In short, all hype no substance.

If the Dogs don't win this weekend, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't win again until June. A few tough games coming up.

Just laugh it off mate, the same has happened in the SANFL... North Adelaide have been labelled the same things and its great, when people hate you they generally respect you (jealousy also creeps in).
Just enjoy the ride champ.

That's the way it goes. Take it as a compliment
Remember that "most Eagles supporters think the flag is in the bag" crap from last year? Pure fabrication. Unit was the only idiot (that I know of) ever to claim that.

Couldn't care less about the supporters, I mean who would care about a Bulldog supporter ?:o
On the other hand the team is very good to watch.

And yet if I ask you to provide proof, like everyone else, you'll either only be able to come up with 1 or two examples, or you'll pretend you didn't see this post and simply not respond.

Welcome to St Kilda 2003.
Media pumps them up (which gets old very quickly) and then tears them down, like they are doing with the Saints of 2006.
Media prediction 2003 - Saints have best young list in the comp and will win many flags.
By 2006 media's ill informed predictions arent fulfilled - Saints really are disappointing and not fulfilling their potential

Tall poppy syndrome is all too strong in humans, I usually find myself barracking for the underdog in neutral matches.
The Bombers have never been anyones second team, but I've never seen a whole country get behind one team in a GF than what I saw in 2001.

Big statement. Reality is that there are no easy games in this league.
We are taking it one week at a time just like everyone else.

Yeah- a bit like the sainters I guess. But- good to see you're putting us down- clearly you've realised this year is your last shot for a few years and don't want anyone showing any signs of snatching it away....so of course you'll put us down.
Ahh unaccountable........milne, peckett, ackland, blake,....thomas....you barely put that tiger tripe away

Load of crap rodogs. St Kilda aren't on their last chance, the only players they will lose over the next couple of seasons are Harvey, Peckett, Powell and Thompson. Only Harvey will be a big loss, the other 3 have been good players but are only role players these days. We aren't as big a premiership threat as St Kilda, West Coast, Geelong, Adelaide or Sydney, we are at least a year off their level. I fully expect us to make the eight, but don't expect us to really push for the flag this season.
And I think most of the resentment towards us is because of the media. We are getting a lot of media, but so would any club who had won 7 of their last 8 and were playing as exciting a brand of football as we are

I've been softened to how much harder it is to watch the Bulldogs winning games and being quite good because the girlfriend is a Bulldogs supporter.
However, I think I can state quite categorically that I would rather watch Geelong and Western winning games than Adelaide and Sydney... At least the footy is bearable to watch.

Who cares??
If you win, people hate you because they aren't winning.
So you try and defend yourself and they hate you even more.
If you lose, noone hates you because they feel sorry for you.
Then if you win again it's the dame thing..
It's a vicious cycle.
People only like you when your losing....Except Collingwood supporters noone likes them. :)
