At least MacLean has resigned, another bad cog gone. A few more of the old brigade gone, new name, new jumper, new song and Freo may make it to be a half decent club.
But I will add that you supporters need to have some thought for Fabian Francis and the damage done to his career and post some words about it before being so defensive on the main board.

Frodo, I won't be defensive, I agree that Francis is the victim of poor management (on our part) in this instance, and he should seek to expose us to the full extent of his legal options. This should be a painful lesson for us, and morely importantly it might serve a purpose as a reminder to other players who hold their hand out at the contract negotiating stage... the pie is not infinite.
On completely another note I think that the choice of 'ring seeker' in your subtitle is perhaps poorly chosen (or not, who knows?)

Umm? I really feel for Francis he is the innocent victim here.

I've thought that too.. but I can't really go the jugular on his personal choices, it wouldn't be very politically correct to abuse someone on the basis that they are a date hunter... oops I mean 'ring seeker'. :D

Good lordy, I think I'm almost feeling some sympathy for Freo supporters. Is there much more your club could do to try and make your lives any more miserable?
All I can say is Thank God It's Not Us. Actually, in some ways I wouldn't mind it because then we'd be rid of Michael "Top 8" Smith! WOO HOO! :D
