Dean Cox - West Coast Eagles

Straight A's for the big man from the West, the All-Australian ruckman has dominated the season so far. So far he has two best on ground performance's, helping the Eagles to have 2 wins in the first 2 rounds. He has shown his mobility around the ground, which started in the first 30 mins of AFL for 2006 at Subiaco, it continued on when the Eagles upset Adelaide on Sunday. Cox had 24 touches, 7 inside 50's, 9 marks and 29 hitouts in only 91 minutes.

BigFooty Emerging Star Nomination
Matt Rosa - West Coast Eagles

A brilliant game from hard-running midfielder Matt Rosa of the West Coast Eagles has earnt him the Round 2 Emerging Star Nomination. It wouldn't had happened if not for a late change for injured Travis Gaspar, Rosa was named an emergency in the selected side. He has 27 disposals and 9 marks, all coming in only 87 minutes of game time.

In fact, I could play that sort of role all year if the need arises
