Stupid coach has made another stupid decision.
Bemaer, johnson both dropped.
we all know beamer had a quiet one last week but if ND played him longer than 5 mins at a time he would have been handy.
Kangaroos game will be ND last if we get to 0 and 5

I dont think that was the worst decision, agree with CJ missing and Moloney looks half-fit and his kicking has let him down, especially last week.
He wont be out for long.

Johnson didn't look up to it down in defence unfortunately.
Moloney didn't look fit but he played reasonably well vs Carlton. I don't mind him being dropped if he isn't fit.

As everyone has said, Moloney isn't fit and shouldn't have been rushed in as he was. Give him a couple of weeks to get fitness back before playing him.

That's because he is not a defender, and has never played as a defender.
For some reason, our coach is utterly obsessed with playing every young kid in the backline. Bell is a great example, the kid was drafted and is built for the midfield, especially given his size and pace. Why stick him down back?
CJ is made for playing on the wing, or up forward. He was great when given a license to roam the forward line, and all he needs is a bit of time to build up his confidence.
At the age of 19, he is the perfect example of a player who should be getting a game on a regular basis. Instead its the same old ******** with Ward, Yze, Brown and so on. No offence to those players, but we gotta move on!
These kids are winning us VFL premierships, when they should be winning us games of AFL. What the hell is the point of drafting these players, if we are not going to play them!

Fair enough that he's underdone and could do with a run in the 2nd's but doesn't it sh*t you up the wall that no matter how heartless and disinterested Yze is you just know that there is no chance in hell that he'll ever be dropped. Stick the consecutive games record.

yeah I totally agree with you.
look at Whelan, he is build like a small defender.
look at Chris Johnson, he is built like a winger. He has a supurb left foot kick when he given the chance to run down the wing with it and drive balls inside 50. Unfortunately, the only kicks he is able to get are ones deep inside defensive 50 and under pressure.
can someone find a stat for his career inside 50s? I'd be surprised if he had even one.
oh and yeah, read what I just said again except replace Johnson with Bell and it works the same way except perhaps Bell has a slightly bigger build that could work as a defender but with his pace he'd be even better as a inside midfielder

Agree with that exactly.
If we start going really crap this year, and when i mean crap I mean we won't make finals then I want a side that has CJ, Bate, Bell and all the other youngesters in it. They all have plenty of potential, but ND needs to play them more.

Absolutely agree that Johnson is a HFF/Wingman and not a defender. Also strongly agree that CJ, Bate and Bell all need to get a good go this year. Will that happen? I don't think anyone could confidently say yes.

Why do we put up with this crap?
