Well done boys, couldn't have asked for much more. I think it shows how much we miss Waite... Sydneys boring football won out in the end. Like our chances next week though. :thumbsu:
Good Effort is not good enough. Our poor starts are becoming a problem as we are always playing catch up footy which is hard to win.
Thinking about it now if we played the first quarters like we did the last 3 we should be 3-0 at the moment.

Yes, i concur, it was a very spirited effort against the reigning premiers tonight. This shall hold us in good stead for next week! :thumbsu:
On another note, i must point out the frustrating performance from the Swans. Fair enough they won, and good on em', but the point is the way they went about it throughout the match which emulated a game of 'keepings off' was simply shocking. Especially when they gathered the ball in their backline, this was their worst display. This is the type of football that is going to ruin the game. :thumbsd:
The swans are a joke and Roos should get the sack for bringing the game down to being netball.
Lost all respect for Syd tonight they will not make the 8.

Sydney should play in skirts they are a blight on football they got gifted a Premiership and don't deserve ********. Carlton on the other hand are champions in the making and can hold there heads a lot higher than that pathetic bunch of fairies. Well done to the Mosquito fleet another step forward.:thumbsu:

The only negative was our first quarter. Aside from that we were very good. Great attack on the football, great pressure, and brilliant work from the youngsters like Betts, Murphs, Simpson, Bentick, and even DeLuca. Great effort overall.
Tonight was a big advertisement for the play-on if kicked backwards rule. Unlike Collingwood on Adelaide, atleast Carlton where man-on-man ahead of the mark. Terrible to watch.
We didn't hang on to our tackles very well, but the major problem was that we were NOT MANNING UP and it costed us dearly.

Absolute delight watching this young kid, you must be absolutely thrilled to have such a level headed kid with such great skills in a first year player.

totally... us not manning up probably cost us a full 20mins of play over the game:thumbsd:
some of the young guys are coming along well though..******** even deluca held some marks:eek: (prefer to see a more aggressive player at chf though)
