View Full Version : Are You a Better Player Than Andrew Walker?
He is shocking.
I've never been one to put him down in the past, but let's face it Carlton, he is a dud.

Gets! u r an idiot.
No, a consciencious observer.
Murphy >> Walker already.
Walker will never be a star, but then again being a high draft pick does not guarantee that anyway. Look at Des Headland, Josh Fraser and Michael Gardiner.
Walker is average, although I like him as a player.
He can be good, needs time, although wont be a star but a good player.

You realised you were a fool to write off a 19 y/o?

F/D, I think someone has stolen your mantle of being the most immature poster on Bigfooty.

I dont think he will be a star.
Nor a top notch player, just a good HBFlanker.

Not a top 2 pick. Has pretty awful foot skills and can't find the footy. An outside player.

Are you talking Dale about Thomas or Heffernan? Perhaps Schammer. :D
Because that's nothing like the Andrew Walker who has been in good form this season and justified his selection with pick 2.

So you watched him play one game and label him as a dud? Perhaps you watch his previous two matches? You have no idea, calling someone who is still only 19 years old a dud.

He's 19? I thought with that beard he was at least 40.
Nah in all seriousness he looks like he *MAY* become a good sort.

Round 4
21 possessions, 121 CD ranking points, in the best yet again (3 out of 4 matches so far), played CHB after quarter time and kept a rampaging Croad comparatively quiet.
Yep the 19 year old kid is a real dud

I compared Walks with other Top 5 picks from 2003....
At the completion of Round 4 2006, Walker is ahead of Cooney, Sylvia, Ray and Mclean in terms of disposals and other important stats....The fact that the Bulldogs and Melbourne play a higher possesion game, makes these stats even more meaningful....

Good facts, every game Walker has played has been judged against his first game when he was best on ground. Remember he is only 19 and still developing, as well as a year behind Cooney. Dont worry about Tex, at 6'3, 90+ kg he will destroy teams next year when he moves into the midfield. Far more menacing prospect than little Farran Ray I would have thought.
Walker has played well so far this year. In fact, these games probably amount to beaing better than the rest of his short career.
Why is it that only 4 Carlton supporters are replying to this thread?
How come there is no more trolls?

Stats are meaningless these days. It's what you do with the ball that matters.
Walker is part of one of the worst defence in the league.
Not hard to either get alot of stats in a crap side or be one of the best. Both are a given for a player of his draft pick status.
mate you are a idiot, yeah we are all better players thats why we are all playing AFL, he is out there to shut opponents down to the best of his ability and does a darn godo job of it, like to see anybody on here do better
