The team vs Sydney did well enough, but could have won, if....
1/ we did not play Lappin-he must have still been carrying the injury which is why he went down so early...we were a man short.
2/ we did not play Chambers. He has proven nto to be good enough at this level. I think Bannister should have come in.
3/ we SHOULD have manned up, one Blue on one Swan.
4/ DeLuca did OK, the second best match he ahs played since coming to the Blues, but he is still too slow and does not hold enough marks.
5/ Sydney, what a disgrace. If they keep this ulta boring footy up of winding down the clock at every chance when they are in front people will jump the fence to get at them. It was painfull watching them smirk as they drained every second they could before chipping to another un-marked Swan to do the same thing.

Were a few positives in this game for us. Can't wait to see Josh Kennedy come in to give us another forward with strength.

Eddie Betts seems to have found his best position. Once he is settled in a spot he will fire constantly.

Lappin's was a totally different injury (hamstring). AFAIK was 100% fit before the game. Hurt his shoulder in a collision. All you can say is he's not having a good run atm!

They took way too long to start manning up and we let Sydney play their stupid chipping game. Bad luck with Lappin's injury as well which would have made a difference as well as affecting how we used the bench.

It was painful watching us allow them to do it. Pagan is an absolute moron. Yes it was pathetic football but sydney won and pagan was out-coached by roos. They started playing the chipping game in the 1st quarter and they were still doing it at the end. Pagan just needed to tell them to man up and we would've won the game. simple.

Generally in agreeance. But Bannister? Noooo! Worst player on our list.
